The left has now become the party of power. Remember when the lefties of the sixties were fighting against an oppressive government? Now they are that oppressive government and todays lefties stand by and do nothing and actually cheer it on.

Tea baggers are a bunch of half witted mathematically impaired backward rubes who couldn't lead a duck to water or organize a bun fight in a whore house or govern a trailer park, let alone govern this nation and lately they have done an excellent job of proving just exactly that.

No, as H. L. Menken once said, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people."

There will always be plenty of stupid people around to fill the ranks of the Teabaggers.

You should also disabuse yourself that Teabaggers represent "conservatives". They don't. They represent stupid people. Mostly stupid bigots...but I'm afraid that phrase is redundant.

Teabaggers are an example of the consequences in politics of short term thinking vs long term consequences. Establishment Republicans wanted radical southern conservatives votes. Now they can't get rid of them. As a former Republican I resent the fact that morons actually believe these people represent conservatives values. They don't. They represent ignorance allied with arrogance, bigotry and stupidity. That is essentially the Teabagger platform.
