If you want to change this country this has to STOP!

FDR is probably one of the only Dems in history that didn't require the machines to get him elected (they still operated like it mattered).
 
I'm not saying this to justify the wrong actions of republicans but she can at least spare us this holier than thou crap. Look at LBJ. He cheated his ass off to win his 1948 Senate seat and without that victory his political career was likely done. Instead he goes on to become President

That's right, my bad i forgot. It's ok to say republicans have been cheating in elections for decades but when someone says democrats have been cheating in elections for decades the past no longer matters and is suddenly unimportant.

At least you are transparent and honest that its not the principle of cheating in elections that bothers you it's strictly a matter of you don't like when the other side does it. You don't mind when your side does.
 
Democrats have continued the cheating. The machines aren't as powerful or pervasive in the modern world (except Chicago remains uber corrupt), and their alternatives to operating a successful party typically aren't as obvious or blatant. We're talking about a party, though, that was founded in cheating as if the act was sacrosanct and patriotic. That will never fully die off. Some of the machines actually dated back to early Jeffersonian days, such as Aaron Burr's NYC machine used to deliver NY in 1800.
 
Truth is, your whole country is full of cheating and it's not only with your elections. Both sides know it and both sides are screaming it out for all to listen to.

Then when we pick up on it you all scream, is not, is not, and go wave old glory some more to undo your damage you've caused.
