Citizens without proof

a study on who and how and why people don't have the IDs

Not having an ID doesn't make you NOT a legal citizen

Deshy, I don't think you are understanding the question.

Can you cite one example of an individual not being able to vote when voter ID was instituted? I showed you evidence that turnout increased in states with voter ID laws. So that would seem to fly in the face of your claims.

You keep spouting that X% of people don't have ID, but that doesn't mean they won't get one if they need it to vote does it?

Are you saying that if voter ID is passed that black people will be unable, or unwilling or too dumb to obtain a photo ID?

Are you saying that having a photo ID is an insurmountable burden?

thank you for admitting your a traitor to this country.

Deshy if you can show me evidence of voter ID suppressing the vote, I will reconsider my position. See unlike you, I am not dogmatic in my beliefs and I do not blindly follow the party line. I oppose the GOP on many things which is why I left.

You have been asked repeatedly for FACTS and you post obscure links from Wiki

see they will just pretend any facts you give them do not exist.

they are complete nutters with no ground to stand on.

they just stand there and SCREAM "na uhhh" at any facts that don't comport with their preconceived notions of the world

you showed republican talking points.

the aims of these ID laws and all your partys attempts to PURGE voters right before elections had landed your assholes in court many a time.

Why do you pretend all those court documented cases don't exist?

We know Deshy, you leftardiots love dead people and felons on voting lists. You have to cheat to win.

Wait until we end early voting. You will probably reverse your menopause the shock will be so great

note he says not a word about the completely court documented cases that span years.

the republican party has repeatedly been taken to court for keeping voters from voting

many of these laws, particularly the ones requiring strict photo identification, met setbacks ahead of the election. A state judge ruled in October that Pennsylvania’s law couldn’t be implemented this election, while federal judges refused to allow similar measures take effect this year in Texas and South Carolina.

A week before the election, the Brennan Center for Justice concluded that “for the overwhelming majority of those whose rights were most at risk, the ability to vote will not be at issue on November 6th.”

Experts agree that much-assailed voter ID laws were less an issue in this election than limited early voting hours, lengthy ballots and precincts shuttered after Hurricane Sandy. These issues contributed to long wait times, prompting some to simply throw up their hands and give up on voting.

“Of all the issues relating to voting rules, voter ID got the most attention but was probably the least significant, mainly because we didn’t have it in Pennsylvania,” said Rick Hasen, a professor at the University of California-Irvine who specializes in election law.

Not a single instance is cited in which ID requirement prevented anyone from voting who was entitled to.

So nobody has been denied their legal right to vote because they had no ID.

Can you show any evidence that it has happened, Desh?
