Lesbian child molester defies judge, pays price, liberals cry "stop the hate"

The South Florida lesbian accused of having sex with her underage girlfriend is back behind bars after a plea deal was withdrawn Monday.

Kaitlyn Hunt, 19, appeared in court Tuesday wearing an orange jumpsuit with her wrists in handcuffs strapped to a belt around her waist — a day after being rebooked into Indian River County Jail.

Prosecutors discovered that Hunt allegedly violated the terms of the agreement by contacting the girl. They say she used an iPhone to send text messages, nude photos and video to her now 15-year-old girlfriend.

Hunt was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a child without bond, as well as an additional charge of transmitting nude photos to a minor.

"There is not a gray area with regard to age," Thom Raulen, public information officer for the Indian River County Sherriff's Office told the Daily News. "The victim was below 16 so that is clearly under the age that allows her to give consent in the State of Florida."

Earlier this month, the prosecution offered Hunt a plea deal that would spare her jail time and registration as a sex offender.

Hunt would have just needed to plead guilty to lesser charges of child abuse and the prosecution said they would then recommend two years of house arrest and one year of probation.

What liberal? She's guilty. The girlfriend was too young. No different than an 18 year old boy having sex with a 14 year old girl.

The thing is....it's not molestation...at least in PA....it's statutory rape.

Do you consider me a liberal? Of course you do.....perhaps you should limit your opinion to the group you are bitching about rather than blanket statements....that's all I was saying.

The group that is trying to get her off the hook is flat out wrong. If homosexuals want to be mainstreamed into the society at large, they have to abide by the same laws that heterosexuals do.....in other words....15 will get ya 20.

The state attorney's office pulled a plea offer Monday following allegations Hunt violated her pretrial conditions by contacting the girl identified as the victim in the case. Prosecutors say Hunt exchanged thousands of texts with the girl and sent her nude photos.

Prosecutors also alleged Hunt's mother, Kelly Hunt Smith, texted the alleged victim and urged her to delete "everything" so no one would find out the girl and Hunt had spoken.

Assistant State Attorney Chris Taylor said in court Tuesday that within days of the court's no contact order, Hunt began contacting the alleged victim in the case, the paper reports. The younger girl's parents reportedly found out, leading to an investigation and Tuesday's hearing.

Sheriff's Detective Jeremy Sheppard testified during the hearing about the abundance of electronic evidence obtained and told the court that Hunt and the younger girl had physical contact on July 29.

"The evidence is overwhelming," Circuit Court Judge Robert Pegg said before revoking the teen's bond.

Hunt's father has publicly claimed that the girl's parents went to police because they blamed Hunt for their child's homosexuality.

Since Hunt's arrest, the case has garnered national attention for what some say is a gay rights issue. Advocacy groups including the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida argue that older high schoolers dating their younger counterparts is an innocuous, everyday occurrence that is not prosecuted - regardless of sexual orientation - and not a crime on par with predatory sex offenses.

I would hope that my HOMOSEXUAL brethren would agree that there needs to be a set of legally binding standards and.morals when it comes age if they want to be mainstreamed into society.

Truthfully...I would like an answer to this. I am all for mainstreaming homosexuals....marriage, the whole bit.

But are homosexuals bound by the same.laws as heterosexuals in regards to age?
