You think you are more rational than Ham, but you are just less honest and willing to reject even your own Bible, which tells you not to add or subtract from it. You do this to salvage what many theologians accept as just fairy tale. You can't tolerate the idea that the Bible has to be taken with a grain of salt, should be read for overarching general themes and it's wisdom tested against improved modern moral sentiments. You need something you can beat others over the head with and incite mobs filled with righteous certainty.

Oh you hit the nail right on the head and that applies to evengelical christians in general. If Christ were to come today he would see them as the modern day Pharisees (or as I call them Capto-Chrisitans) and they would do as the Pharisess did....crucify him.

Except that you're wrong. His "belief choices" are based on science where since yours invoke an unidentified supernatural being are completely precluded as being science based upon the age old ground rules of science.

What you're doing, and why it is intellecutally dishonest, is trying to change the ground rules for science to fit your personnal beliefs and calling it "science". That boat don't float.

The most over whelming bit of evidence that supports the theory of biological evolution is its utility. Having studied and seen that virtually all the branches of applied biology are branches of applied evolutionary theory you become acutely aware of just how usefull the theory is. So when some neophyte like PiMP wants to argue the creationist line, the initial repsonse is to laugh them off and say "Sure pal, go ahead, work with that. See just how far you get." and you'd be right. Their insights advance science not one iota.

However, the political and social influence to teach their ignorance as science is a direct threat to those of us who persue careers in the life sciences. That I take seriously.

You claimed I created my own evidence. I asked you to provide an example of where I did that and and you have failed to do so. There is plenty of evidence that humans evolved from other species but we are currently discussing your claim which you are trying to weasel out of. Fine, I accept that your assertion was unfounded and that you wish to retreat from it, chickenshit.

It is exactly what you said. Who is teaching atheists beliefs as if it were science? Give us an example of this? Is it widespread? You always respond with vague generalities which you then try to worm your way out of with word parsing.

He starts with that. Then he goes onto misrepresenting your position (a strawman), then next will come circular reasoning or a red herring and when that fails he either than stoops to ad hominen fallacies or he plays "raise the bar" of evidence to an absurd degree.

Been there, done that. Discussing this topic with PiMP is a waste of time as he will not discuss it honestly.
