Lol, okay, maybe I exaggerate. It might have been the second post or just looking at his name!

I think about his parents everyday.
Not sure I could handle that trauma without losing my mind. In fact, I know that I could not.
I can't even handle the thought of something happening to my daughter in a combat zone.
To see my child who has been murdered, put on trial in that manner .. I would just lose it entirely.
.. not even me?
You forget the one factor that endeared Zimmerman to them, he had a gun! They can overlooked the fact that he was Hispanic because protection of guns is more important than protection of human life.

Nobody. Troll4Reagan is having a Yurt-style whine fest bitching about how nobody loves him and he's going to eat some worms because PmP talked him into joining our forum to flame it and now people aren't saying nice stuff to him.
I saw this posted several different times on Facebook. I didn't post this because of the trial but because it reminded me of being young and some people I grew up with. A lot of people do dumb things when they are a teenager. A lot of people look back and say "what was I thinking"? And there are some very successful people today who will tell you that at one point in their life they were headed down a very dark path until they made a change. (Of course there were kids I grew up with that were punks and thugs and never changed and are now just old punks and thugs). Yes Trayvon liked to smoke weed and fight. Not exactly traits I would encourage young people to follow yet millions of kids have gotten in fights and smoked week in their life. He was not unique that way.
This post reminded me of being 17 and remembering what I thought at the time and what my mindset was.

From The Wall Of Mr. Corey Shy:
I am Trayvon Martin..
The picture on the left was taken when I was 17 years old, had just graduated from high school, and really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. Based on my appearance in this picture, you probably would have labeled me a thug or a trouble maker. I only graduated in the top 50% of my class and I took my ACT 4 times. A promising future in college doesn't look too well... at this point does it?
But at age 17 (Trayvon's age when murdered), I didn't realize how much I would be judged and stereotyped for the clothes I wore and my physical appearance. Two months after that picture on the left was taken, I entered college and quickly realized that I wasn't pushing myself to be the best I can be. I hardly studied in high school but as as freshman in college I began to study daily. As a matter of fact, I did so well that I was able to participate in a summer medical internship at Yale University. I then went on to graduate from Prairie View A&M University Magna Cum Laude and in two weeks I will be attending Texas A&M Health Science College of Medicine to become a medical doctor.
The picture on the right is where I am now just four years later at the age of 21. The reason I am sharing this with you is because I COULD HAVE BEEN TRAYVON MARTIN!!! The defense team could have gone onto the internet and found pictures of me that were similar to Trayvon's pictures and characterized me as a thug. They would have then portrayed me as the aggressor and as a result it lead to my death. If that would have happened, then I would not have had the opportunity to reach my true calling, which is a medical doctor. My White Coat ceremony is in four days and it marks the next step in my journey. I could have been laying in a casket with a black suit, instead of being in a white coat trying to save lives.
When I was 17, no one would have imagined that I would be doing so well and on my way to medical school. Who is to say that could not have happened to Trayvon Martin if he was still alive? He could have been the next doctor, lawyer, engineer, teacher ,etc.
My prayers go out to his family and friends.
Please share my story so people can be more conscious of their racial profiling. Everyone has the potential, as long as they are alive, to achieve greatness and make a positive impact on this world.

Seriously? I could care less what people think.. Especially on an anonymous message Board where only a couple people really know me and have my Number.
Do I care what you think? Not really..
But dont complain about people ignoring your points when All I have seen out of you and several others for Months is calling everyone that disagreed with you a Racist.
You add nothing to civil discussion with your antics...
YOU are the one that seemingly needs to impress people... From what I have seen youre a shameless self promoter that throws a hissy fit every time somebody disagrees with you. You're an antagonist and a Shock Troll.. Seriously.. Grow up and act like an adult.
Howey is the archetypal drama queen, he has never stopped promoting his failing forum and gossiping about people from other sites. Pay him no mind.
I was 17 a decade ago. In many ways, I was more mature than I am now. I started posting on Politics.Com and was a very civil guy. It wasn't my way to flame people or to marquee scroll the F word accross the screen. Also, I had a very good understanding of how my behavior and efforts would affect my future. So, I dressed nice and worked hard as a student. Of course, I knew my 3.0 average wasn't going to get me a free ride through college, and I actually first envisioned joing the National Guard when I was 14 prior to entering HS.
Bottom line is, I never related well to these teenage stereotypes when I was a teenager. I probably can sympathize with them better now, actually, since I can look at Trayvon with much more pity than I likely would have ten years ago. I still would have hated Zimmermann, anyway...
