Okay, now, guess how lawmakers get to make laws in the first place? Are you concentrating? They're elected! Yep!

Guess by whom? The residents of the state! So a majority of the residents voted for them, effectively voting for these laws.

This means a majority of the residents support those laws. How do we get them to change their minds?

Did someone say "is it economic pressure Darla?!" Because, that's right boys!

So you see, it's not mindless retaliation against the wrong targets.

Why do you think the Montgomery Bus Boycotts worked so well? Why was the government of this small southern town so anxious to negotiate with MLK? Why did anyone care that the black people were not riding the bus into town anymore?

As for what you are saying, whether I agree or disagree, you really have to start at the beginning of this case when zimmerman was let go and not even drug tested at the scene. There is no doubt in my mind Martin is dead because he's black. Zimmerman profiled him, just as he profiled the 48 other black males he called the cops on for being "suspicious". We all know this. And I think we all know that if the dead kid was white zimmerman doesn't walk that night, and if he doesn't walk that night, the case is completely different from the start. So is the outcome.

So let's not claim this was not racism.

every day you idiots continue to overuse the word racist, it becomes less and less effective at the bullying you're trying to use it for.

It's an "ends justify the means" argument.

I just don't believe in hurting innocent people, indiscriminately. It's a principled stance.

I agree with you on Corey and this case being set-up.

Let me tell you how effective it is ..

Today, even racists run from the word 'racist.' :0)

Pretty effective I'd say.

In fact, racists even use the word themselves in attempts to block the in-coming fire.

They scream, whine, and holler as if their ass is on fire when it's leveled at them.

DAMN effective I'd say. :0)
