I have no problem explaining why I feel the way I do .. AND, I've said it MANY times while you were away vacationing on the moon. In fact, if you read the first post, it explains quite clearly why I feel as I do .. besides the all too obvious which you aren't very good with.

I'm black .. and so are my children .. and motherfuckers like you would like to see them dead.

Martin was stalked .. and you don't have the honesty to admit the truth.

I don't "fawn" over BAC Onceler. But that is something ILA accuses me of very often, so good company you're in.

I simply agree with him on this, and that is because from the very first day I found out about this, I understood that Zimmerman profiled Martin, chased Martin, and then killed Martin. I never understood the confusion.

Now this thread is all about your hurt feelings. Because that's what is important to you. Feel free to discuss them with Superfreak all you want, and maybe look ILA up for another shoulder.

How can I? How can I explain it to someone who has totally convinced himself that what Zimmerman did was some kind of innocent following, not stalking.

If I invite you to dinner, and you follow my car in your car, that's following.

If I am driving somewhere, and you decide I am suspicious, and you follow me to see what I am up to, that is stalking.

But you won't accept that because it interferes with your worldview that Zimmerman is a victim.

Smarter than you has come right out and stated that they are free to follow you or me around for hours and even wait outside of stores for us, and there's not a damned thing we can do about it. Others have also made similar statements about following us around. This was specifically about women, when I brought this up.

So that is what you are dealing with. They're really quite sick.

They have no understanding of friendship or decency.

He's walking in lockstep with ILA .. but because many of us are on the same side on this issue .. there must be a problem.
 
oh - and, SF & STY, the reason I don't want you on a rape trial - you'd probably come up with "well, it wasn't rape, because he followed her for three blocks, threw her on the ground, f**** her, but she didn't scream so she must have wanted it and he was so obviously following her he wasn't stalking her"

I would suggest you start with the actual definitions of the words. You are instantly jumping away from following to stalking. Based on what?

Juror B37

B37, first presented to the court on the second day of jury selection, Tuesday, June 11, is memorable as the woman with many pets: 3 dogs, 4 cats, a parrot, a crow with one wing, two lizards . . . it seemed almost an aside when she also mentioned two daughters. She has lived in Seminole county for 18 years, and has been married for 20. She has two children, a 26-year-old and a 24-year-old.

She was another juror with explicit disdain for the press, saying the best “use for newspapers is for the parrot’s cage, that’s a better use than reading.” When asked directly if she trusts the media, she answered firmly, “I do not.”

She recalled the protest marches in the area as “rioting.” Her recollection of the shooting is that it was an “unfortunate incident,” but that she had not formed an opinion about what happened. She further recalled that Zimmerman had been involved in a scuffle, lat at night, and a “boy of color” had been killed.



It is notable that B37 is the only juror to have previously possessed a license to carry a concealed firearm (termed a CCW, “concealed carry weapons,”in Florida), although she had allowed the license to expire and no longer carried a firearm (and apparently did so rarely if at all when she was licensed). Her husband still owns guns, however, and B37 expressed no uncertainty about her ability to use and shoot a gun, saying she has gone to the range shooting.

When questioned by the defense on final voir dire she affirmed that “I’ll just follow the law,” in evaluating the evidence and coming to a verdict.

Sorry if I'm so whiny about it. It's pretty intriguing that you don't see "racist" as being a serious accusation at all, given your other comments ont he subject.
