Another Bush Cost Obama Hasn't Stopped; A Multi-Million Dollar Video Game..

Anti-Party

Tea Is The New Kool-Aid
AmericasArmy the video game is a First Person Shooter game. It was put into action in 2002, under Bush. In 2009 the game had already cost tax payers $32.8 Million. I can't find the cost today, but it's well over $48.4 Million. Probably much more because they came out with AA3 and came out with apps for phones as well.

Corporate America sold this to our Government by stating it's a "recruitment tool" for the Army. It does run you through Military style tests, but players can do a simple online search of the answers and avoid it. All in all, it's just an average video game, only it has a link to apply to the army on the website.

So I want to hear feedback about this program. Keep it, or can it. If you want to keep it, explain why. You might also state why this isn't a breach of everyone's Liberty who doesn't want to play it but is forced to pay for it.

Why whine about a $50 million video game when we have GovCo programs so much larger ripping us off? Ever hear of NPR?

So you are stating that all of the poor spending in small quantities won't amount to much and we should push them aside?

I am open to your information but you need to be a little more clear about the spending you are talking about. And you are off topic. Stating this spending is "whining" is probably what someone else is stating you are doing about your topic because they see problems bigger...

Further, I'm guessing no one in America will dare argue to keep this video game paid for by tax payers. But give me information on what you are talking about and I'll guess there are people out there that want it for one purpose or another and have a good argument. Maybe not, but I can't say because you had no substance...

No I'm saying that there's a lot of crap that GovCo pays for you and you don't seem to mind that. Your hatred of Bush has caused you to be illogical.

Legion, what's up dude. I've been slipping and didn't realize it was you. Nice new schtick dude.

Maybe you are new to forums and maybe you should learn to keep on topic.

Trying to state what I "don't seem to mind" is simply idiotic. You don't know a thing about me and assume I am recognizable as a group.

"Your hatred of Bush makes you illogical".................really now..................

You need to learn that idiot party morons like you think that everything you do is ok, yet if someone else does the same, it's bad. Bush caused TONS of harm. Wake up and own it.

I have no opinion about the project; not enough info. But I didn't see in the post anything particularly anti-Bush.

I did in the quoted quotes see other people going off-tangent instead of focusing on this project.

I'm shocked - SHOCKED - that anyone went off-tangent on a JPP thread!

ok, back to reality - again, I have no opinion on the program; but I also don't think, based on this one post, it's "fair game" to paint anti-party as anti-Bush, since the program is apparently continuing on when Bush is gone.

I make bait threads on purpose. To expose the morons who think "everything is ok when one person does it, but not ok when someone else does" That tool fell for it hook, line and sinker. "You just hate Bush" yadda yadda.

So what, do they give it away for free? how can a video game - assuming it's at all popular - lose money?

And before I get jumped on - no, I am not expert in the video game market, so just skip any snarky comments.

hmmm... the guy who is dating my step-daughter programs video games - can he go into the army and spend his time working on this game? hmmmm. On the other hand, think he likes his current job that is somehow connected with zombies... probably can't get him to switch.

I don't judge you for asking questions I applaud you.

Free to download and free to play. It was rated the most popular FPS game when it was AA2, now it's ranked low in the top 10 if in the top 10 at all.

It loses money because it's paid for by tax payers and has no way to gain revenue.
