I guess I am from back in the good old days where a cowboy boot to the ribs or face could do some major damage and you took your licking, no guns necessary. Now later, a group of your friends might get some revenge, but we rarely had guns involved, though any had them in their trucks.

That depends. Do you consider this a gun rights issue or a civil rights issue cause there have been by far more posts about guns than this one.

Agreed, which is why Mr. Zimmerman needed to be charged and face a jury of his peers. If he's found innocent based upon the facts by a jury of his peers, so be it. Justice has been served but to just let him walk based on someones political ideology is a travesty and sends an extremely dangerous message to the public.

According to STYY, wanting to settle an argument with your fists and not a gun makes you a coward.
 
So the favorite meme of the left (I say left as this case seems to be falling on political lines) is that Zimmerman should have just gone home. Now, to be fair there is an argument for that and one could ask Zimmerman why he didn't do just that.

But, the question is never asked, "Why didn't Martin just go home?". He supposedly only went out in the rain to get some "skittle and a drink". The facts show that even at a moderate pace, it should not have taken him that long.

But, if this big bad "white hispanic" was "stalking" poor, young, innocent Trayvon who just wanted skittles, why didn't he just go home? Now of course we can't ask Trayvon, but the self professed thinkers don't seem to want to ask that question.

No, these so called purveyors of truth seem to only want to believe the best of Trayvon and the worst of Zimmerman. Maybe the lefties hate "white hispanics"?

OPINION

Make no mistake, the left including Obama are salivating for a race riot. They would like nothing better than to gin up racial strife heading into the mid term elections and nothing would serve their cause than an acquittal of Zimmerman. If Zimmerman is acquitted, you will immediately see Trayvon's parents trotted out claiming that "It feels like he has been shot all over again" and of course the testimony of the prosecutions "star witness" will be deemed "RACIST" and lest we forget that the jury is a bunch of evil WHITE women who are skeered of some black man.

How is that any different from all those that kept saying the dispatcher TOLD Zimmerman NOT TO FOLLOW.
