See, you haven't been paying attention. He has been charged ONLY with 2nd degree murder. That means there are no charges for the jury to fall back on. The prosecution MUST meet the burden of proof for 2nd degree murder or he walks.

This is EXACTLY the reason why 'stand your ground' exists, to deter wanna be bullies from telling others what they can and cannot do. I'd put two in your chest and one in your head for it.

I believe that's incorrect. While he cannot be convicted of a higher charge, he can be convicted of a lesser charge.

One can tell you're an advocate for a race war. I knew it. What's keeping me from beating you to the punch for you walking up behind me? Bullies? You're the friggin' bully. What you need to know is that you being white doesn't give you the license to end anybody's life. Vigilante justice is as against the law for you as it is for Zimmerman.

Well I wont stake everything on it, but I am pretty sure juries can only convict if someone is charged with a specific crime. A lot of times when you see juries choosing a lesser count is because prosecutions charge both, and the lesser charge may have had the burden met but not the higher charge.
 
The racists would be happy that a "dirty half breed" like Zimmeman would rot in prison. It's silly to say that because somebody may believe that Zimmerman was fighting for his life that night that they are racist.

The idea that some people assume he's guilty solely because Martin was black is racial at the very least, to assume others are racist because they believe that a Hispanic man may have defended himself is just plain deliberately ignorant and a misuse of the "race card"...

The media portrayed Zimmerman as something he was not, and that is a travesty. That so many still believe it is a horrible shame that says much about our society. That it is almost always along political lines is amazing to me.

I don't know if Zimmerman will be found innocent or even if he should be, but I do know that I'm going to wait for a trial and trust the justice system far more than I will some idiot claiming "racism" if somebody doesn't agree with their opinion.

the above shows clearly you're the racist. All I talked about was having the right to walk behind you and follow you. YOU brought in race, making you the racist. and YOU coming up to 'whup my ass' is all the license I need to end your life.

Darla, here is where you show your ignorance. If I choose to walk behind you for 4 hours and stand outside every store or office you go in to, waiting for you to come out but I do NOTHING to interfere with you, talk to you, block your path, etc......there is NOTHING you can do about it. It's called freedom. Now, I know you don't care for that much freedom but that's just too bad. ANYONE, white/black/male/female, that uses 'they was following me and I felt threatened' excuse to shoot that person following them is the murderer.

More than likely I would call the police, and have a order of protection leveled against you. And I would end your life before you ended mine, or attempt to. But this is all hypothetical.
