Btw...the article the idiot Bravo linked to is three months old, says nothing about Obama pledging anything, and is only about one rebel group.

That said, I'm sure he fully supported Bush I's dealing with al Qaeda.
 
Anyone remember the Afghan Mujahideen we armed to fight the Russians? They turned into the Taliban that we are today fighting.

I honestly don't know what we should do - if anything. No matter what we do or not do there is a big chance of a down side biting us in the rear down the road. I think the best route for us is to find someone else (the UN maybe?) or a bunch of partners to share the load and the risk. And then to provide support to the rebels in the form of something that can't later be used against us or our friends. We can't fix every wrong or be the world's policemen without making enemies of everyone.

There is no guarantee the next government will be our friend, even if this one is clearly bad and our enemy.
 
LOL @ Topsoin. You groaned me for asking what America should do regarding Syria? Is that because I'm suppose to know the answer already and not ask anyone what they think? I'll bow to your superior intellect then because I sure as hell don't know what the right answer is. My apologies for that.

Well, we could do nothing. But Assad - and therefore Iran and Hezzbollah (and Russia) - is winning. So . . . there kinda are no good options here.

I'm not sure what I think. I'm just glad I don't have to make that decision. I sure as shit don't think that supporting the opposition means we should question "whose side" the President is on. And for someone who thinks choosing sides is clear here, I didn't think you'd object to my characterization of you.

I don't want to paint you as ignorant but I would love to see you search "proof al-Qaeda exists".
I would also like you to search "Benghazi was a weapons running facility"

If you still have patience I want you to watch some films that show we are using military force to stop Oil Rich Countries from trading oil for other monetary sources, which would expose and cripple America

Everyone should learn that America creates "coup de tas" through the CIA to overthrow other worldly Governments that challenge us. If you haven't learned this then watch the Zeighist Films and the whistleblowers on there that have much more important information than this new guy.

To break it down slow and simple....7 Countries decided to trade Oil for Gold instead of our American Dollar. Each of these Countries are being taken out by America. And it only takes a fast "he is killing his people" to ignore it................Unless you actually look for proof.......Proof Iraq had WMD's.............proof the Libya president was killing it's people...........Proof Iran actually has a nuke.........

Or since education has forced more lies, ACTUAL proof Syria is killing it's people, beyond a staged incident..
