Reporter Goes to Get Emotional Footage... Gets attacked by dogs...

So, the man who killed her daughter turns himself in... this reporter thinks it is a good time to get the lady on TV. The lady wants none of it...

I have to admit my karma took a hit today. I couldn't stop laughing.

Maybe her assault trial will be at the same time as the one for the guy who shot her daughter.
That way they can both see what punishment they'll both receive.
She called the reporter a "white bitch", so I wonder if this is going to be a hate crime.
It is a shame that now her dogs will probably be classified as dangerous and destroyed.

Came back to add:
Melissa Lawrence has now been charged with two counts of felony assault.
She was later released on $50,000 bail. Her next court date is August 8.

If I were on her jury she would get off. The idea... God forbid, I lose one of my daughters in some horrible news producing event...

I couldn't possibly bear to have some idiot reporter trying to stuff a microphone at me at that moment. I'd be broken, and I'd have a hard time giving any thought to whether or not the stupid wench called the police on me for whatever it took to get her away from me.

In following several stories, regarding this, I've noticed that there have been numerous references to Melissa Lawrence having the microphone "shoved" in her face and yet the video doesn't seem to support this.

I hope the dumb bitch gets the maximum sentence, both for ordering the dogs to attack and for basically attempting to kill the dogs. The dogs are the other two victims in this story, simply for doing what their owner told them, they may be destroyed. I hate people.

The video supports the scenario of a reporter who went to the house of a victim of a horrific crime to get emotional footage, and got it.

Put yourself in her shoes, Free... The reality is you wouldn't abide some idiot reporter doing this to you if it was your kid, and you know it.

Since you addressed this to me, I'll respond directly.
I believe I would have walked into my home and shut the door.
The reporter was on a public sidewalk.
The women threw rocks and injured the camera guy, came out with a "bat", and then told her two dogs to attack them.
I'm surprised that she only received 2 charges; because I counted 8 that she could have recieved.
Two thrown rocks
Threatens two people with her "bat"
Has two dogs attack two people.

Now add in the racial comment, which would have had anyone else charged with a hate crime; which could be 9 counts.

Good. Let her rot in jail. The reporter was on public property. Freedom of speech and all that...

I have always thought, if something horrible happens to my kids, when some reporter shove a mic or camera in my face and asks "How are you feeling?" I hope I have my wits about me so I can stare right in their eyes and reply, "I feel like beating the hell out of the first person to ask me a stupid question".

We have media training classes at work on how to deal with Reporters. This is not the way to do it. LOL

The lady should have told the reporter, we're not giving statements at this time, if you need a comment please call our representative at 1-800-eat-shit.

BTW......Is it just me or is that reporter real hawt?

This is why all reporters need to register with the federal government to make sure they aren't criminals or mental patients.

Call it the Media Safety Act

Before any reporter can ask a person a question they must submit to a background check and have a three day cooling down period particularly after any horrific news event

We have to be assured they won't ask any insensitive questions. It is really for everyone's protection

The 1st Amendment isnt absolute after all and nor did the Founders mean it to be

I agree with you. The woman already demanded that she leave .. it was obviously the wrong moment.

Gotta admit my karma took the same hit because the scene with her running down the street in heels was kinda' funny.

I guess her camera man thought it was funny too because he just kept filming.

I'd hope that first I'd tell her, "Don't take this personally, I'm going to hold 'the finger' in front of my face so that any image of me is pixelated."

Then go on to describe, in my way without cursing, exactly how low I think a person is who would attempt to use my emotional pain for the entertainment of unwashed masses and their own aggrandizement.

Which doesn't change that I sympathize, not with the reporter, but with the grieving woman who simply didn't want her pain to be the entertainment of the evening for unempathetic narcissistic losers. She may have gone at it in the wrong way, but the raw emotion that caused it is not something that should be foreign to anybody capable of even the slightest empathy.

Police in Providence are searching for a group of youths who showed up uninvited to a kindergarten graduation party and shot one of the guests.

Police say 16-year-old Ny'asia Lawrence was shot in the back on Sunday and is being treated at Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Police say an argument began when Lawrence's mother told an uninvited guest at her nephew's kindergarten graduation party to either leave or pay for the food he was eating.

They say the youth left but came back to the home with a group of friends, one of whom had a gun and began shooting. Lawrence was the only one injured. Police have not made any arrests.

Livin in the ghetto, where tossing out an idiot that crashes a kindergarten graduation party will get you shot. Surprised they would even report black on black crime, must have been a very slow news day in RI.

If she were from Fox News, you guys would be calling her a hero who was victimized by the poor dog.

Seriously, this woman sucked and should have left that woman alone.
And the FOX NEWS reporter sucked and should have not solicited top secret information.

The best thing to do is to not say anything or interact with them in any way cause they are going to get the last word. So the best way to manage them is not to vent but to tell them to call your representative and walk away.

Wow! I don't know why the hell would they want to put that fugly shababby on TV anyways. Nobody wants to see people who are that fat and ugly.

That said, I think about 10 years in prison and huge fine would be appropriate. And the "pid bows" should be destroyed.
