the war on terror is working...for the terrorists, we have fewer civil liberties because of 9/11 and the knee jerk response to it

The Umbrella that is the PATIROT ACT has things in it that I am okay with, and things I am very unhappy with. I'm disappointed in Obama for extending parts of it.

A person can substitute Columbine, Aurora, Sandy Hook, or any tragedy comitted with a gun in the blank and the first part would be true as well if it were left up to some democrats and republicans.

Let me say this before I conclude ... I never feared any of the wire tapping, surveillance or searches because it didn't apply to me. I was not and am not a terrorist. Profiling ... I don't look like a ME male, just a crossed up American Indian/White dude. BUT, I didn't/don't agree with any of that. (There are some nuances to profiling but that is for another discussion) I don't fear background checks because I don't plan on doing anything that would prevent me from purchasing a gun. BUT, I don't agree that such requirements are constitutional and are just a further erosion of the liberties we now enjoy nor would the effectiveness be of any significance, IMO, thus I remain staunchly against any "knee jerk" legislation to make it so.

imo, many crimes that involve dna evidence are usually sexual and the dna is from the sperm. the more intelligent rapists use condoms anyway.

Still, IMO, a bit of misdirection by placing false leads would go even further than condoms, IMO. More intelligent rapists force their victims to shower and clean themselves afterward too.

this is ridiculous. if you allow the government to draw blood or DNA for anything, you should have no problem whatsoever with the government telling women what to do with their reproductive organs.
