good luck with the dysentery.
Over an hour... why?
Are you suggesting that a bug out bag would help me swim better?
I have a bug out bag, a doubled up old pattern SAS Bergen.
My family and I could survive for months, years even from that bag.
Our property in Maine is our FRV.
We have carefully planned highway routes and overland routes.
The Maine property has sufficient acreage to provide fuel for decades, centuaries even.
A cabin, a garage, a generator, a bunker, the only downside is its distance from Boston.
5 hours drive.
Don't fill your bag with too much food and water.
Far better to fill it with the tools to kill food and safely make water potable.
A 'bug out bag'?
Even if i had one i'd be hesitant to admit to it. What a god awful name.
It is at times like this i give thanks i was born in a country that, for all its dental flaws, is devoid of major natural disasters.
Tell your guy I will take that "disgusting two year old food" off his hands. That stuff beck was selling has a shelf life of 15-25 years and I got a free sample of it. It is very tasty and nutritious. The stuff I have now is by a company called "Mountain House" and is only good for 10 years. Also, in the early 80's, I was eating C-rations canned in 1944! Granted, some of the stuff wasn't too appetizing, but I remember the canned crackers and grape jelly was exquisite!well I guess that's the issue, I do have all that stuff, it's annoying that they are using fear to sell bob's for almost $600. I have most of that stuff in the house already and the food and water will be fresh. I know a guy who spent thousands on freeze dried food that glen beck was selling, now his garage is filled with disgusting two year old food.

May I assume a negative stupidity ranking is a good thing. Double negatives tend to be confusing...
How long can you tread water?
