EU unemployment hits new high showing austerity fails

I love the way that you ignored the fact that the article is about the 17 countries in the Eurozone. So might it be that the problem is the fact that many of those countries shouldn't have been in the Euro to start with?

so the austerity the EU is doing is NOT austere enough for the right here?

They call is austerity in name only I guess.

where is your proof that what YOU would be willing to call austerity would work as you claim it would?

The PIIGS need to get out of the Euro, until that happens they are mostly screwed.

You were supposed to highlight the austerity. What did they cut?

Here are some purty pictures for Desh to blow up her "austerity" meme. Maybe she can present data to us highlighting all of these dastardly spending cuts as this data clearly shows spending is increasing. Maybe Desh just doesn't know what "austerity" means and just likes saying it because she read it on one of her PMSNBC blogs by Chris Hayes

show us their spending Desh... go to Eurostat and show us who has increased spending since 2008 and who has reduced it since then.

Stop harassing Desh with questions like proving her point. She heard from Darla who heard from Howey who heard from Paul Krugman that Europe is undergoing all of this "austerity" so it must be true.

Remember that time when you were, like, "show me ONE COUNTRY that had reduced spending" and then I showed you, like, 7 of them and added that the EU27 collectively reduced spending?

Good times.

Remember how you tried to pretend that the 'cuts' were cuts even though they still had the EU countries spending more than pre-crisis levels
