No, he did not. According to his own statements he did not start returning to his car until sometime after they told him not to follow.
Trayvon did nothing illegal before Zimmerman pursued, confronted and shot him.
The defense is desperate. These photos and text have nothing to do with incident and should not be admissible.
uh I don't know what statements you are looking at but the police were actively asking zimmerman where trayvon was going. After a while the police said "are you still following him?" zimmerman says yes, the police go "we dont need you to do that" and he goes "ok." Then he was heading back to his car when trayvon jumped him.
Trayvon did something illegal when he jumped zimmerman. Zimmerman never did anything illegal, following is not illegal. Even if the officer told zimmerman to go back and zimmerman ignored the officer, he still didn't do anything illegal.
the defense is simply responding to a false picture of trayvon. It's entirely relevant if there is evidence that trayvon enjoys fighting, engaging in fighting, and is ready to put his fists up.
