It's a global war on terror, yo!
Sorry Howie, I don't support
1. Global wars
2.War on verbs
3. Any war.

If those two men that were shot by police in London were from the US, do you think they would have had a trial before shooting them?
I think the details and the method are not really relevant here, it is more the principle. What if they had been taken out by a drone?

If a drone had been used those two men would not now be facing a trial and the relatives of the bystanders killed, in the resulting explosions, would be demanding to know why their government had summarily executed people on the streets of the capital.
Actually, i don't even know why i bothered to answer that question.
Were they targeted from 10,000 miles away and killed with premeditated malice?
So distance is the issue for you?
When the justification for murder is immediate threat, then yes, distance is an issue.
So if they sent in helicopter gunships, you would be happy with that?
If they left them the fuck alone, stayed entirely out of the ME, then I would be happier.
There have been enough cases of the wrong people being targeted by the police in the past, you yourself highligted the case of the man with the white stick who was shot. I can envisage a time in the near future where drones will be used as they can get to a crime scene much quicker than armed police. Why do you assume that the only weapon that a drone can carry is missiles? Why not machine guns, lasers, ultra sound, CS gas or even tasers?
Would you be happy for Saudi Arabia to fall to Al Qaeda?
Hmm, let's see, a family dictatorship falling to Al'Qaeda? Yes, highly likely, idiot.
Furthermore, Sauds can suck balls, considering that Bin Laden as well as 90% of the 9-11 attackers were Saudis.
Bin Laden has always said that Saudi was his number one target, I have no reason to believe that's changed since his death.
