Repugnant

That is irrelevant.... The question is: do I see every conservative that disagrees with her, or do I see a list that is made up solely of repugnant assholes?
You don't see every one because she fucked up, as I stated in the beginning...

If the feds weren't taxing everyone so heavily then charities would be able to spend more. The first folks trucking in relief were from outside the state...

You' re not making any sense. You're spouting programming .. and you don't know it.

Let me repeat .. BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

... did that snap you out of it?

The people of Oklahoma should not be denied assistance because of the insanity of their highest elected leaders .. but they bear a responsibility for all the insane policies they support .. and by extension .. its citizens support.

The same is true of Kentucky and Rand Paul.

USDA Designates 7 Counties in Kentucky as Primary Natural Disaster Areas With Assistance to Producers in Surrounding States

WASHINGTON, Sept. 5, 2012 — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has designated seven counties in Kentucky as primary natural disaster areas due to losses caused by excessive heat and drought that began April 1, 2012, and continues.

“Our hearts go out to those Kentucky farmers and ranchers affected by these natural disasters,” said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. “President Obama and I are committed to ensuring that agriculture remains a bright spot in our nation’s economy by sustaining the successes of America’s farmers, ranchers, and rural communities through these difficult times. We’re also telling Kentucky producers that USDA stands with you and your communities when severe weather and natural disasters threaten to disrupt your livelihood.”

Farmers and ranchers in the following counties in Kentucky also qualify for natural disaster assistance because their counties are contiguous.

I wonder how many Paul voters turned down assistance from the 'socialist?'

Probably none. I feel that the people of these states seem to view themselves as "the salt of the earth" and everyone else as "takers". I would not deny them assistance, or even take back the money I donated, but I feel strongly that they own this guy, and a majority of them agree with him. I feel they should be ashamed of themselves. But I will be more charitable than they are. Mostly because so many of the victims were children.

Though children died in Sandy too.

Charities give billions of dollars every year. They'd give more if the feds weren't ripping us all off...

So you think that YOU are the only person that Darla finds to be a repugnant asshole that she did NOT include on her list?

It's true I did fuck up and he is enjoying it...he should because it won't happen again. Being able to post on my thread and feeling he is "ruining" something for me will be the best thing that happens to him this month. (though since forced IA he can't ruin anything, so he is incorrect.)

Nothing that ever happens here will be the best thing that happens to me this month. :)

I have no clue who is on her enemies list...
then your point remains irrelevant. There is no indication that Darla was trying to eliminate dissension, only that she preferred not to discuss this with repugnant assholes. Unfortunately, in this case, she missed one.

Charities are often the first groups in with relief. The way they are structured makes it easier for them to get boots on the ground on short notice. But what the first wave does is not about rebuilding. The first wave is about relief. They provide food, shelter, and some basic facilities that help the people stagger back to their feet.

The long term help is what is needed. Tuscaloosa AL was slammed by tornadoes in April of 2011. Many areas have not had more than rubble removal. It will be years before Tuscaloosa recovers.

Gimme a break. No one is going to turn down money from a government that has been ripping them off their entire lives...

How is it "ripping them off" when they need it?

Oklahoma got 67 billion dollars in 1999 and they're going to need at least that much again.

Where is the logic to your argument .. AND, most importantly, your argument is not in the best interests of the people of Oklahoma who need all the help from the federal government they can get .. many of whom are already on food stamps.

Your argument is only in the best interests of your ideology .. not the people of Oklahoma.

Well said.

“Gov. Christie, Gov. Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg all submitted absolute documentation,” King said on the House floor. “When we asked is anything else required, they said, ‘No, you’ve given us all we need.’ When the bill came from the Senate, we were told there was some pork in the bill. That was taken out of the bill. The bill that was going to voted on the House floor was exactly in compliance with what the Republican leadership asked us to do.”
