Recent Jobs Report...

Just like ILA and USF...

Can't celebrate some good news for the country. Always has to try to bring it down.

Move to Russia.

No kidding!

Their pitiful attempts at "gloom and doom" aren't getting any traction.

"The April jobs numbers describe a mass replacement of full-time workers with part-time employees, coupled with a fall in the length of the average workweek."

Well gee, sounds like maybe the problem lies with greedy CEO's who don't want to do their part to help keep this country's economy robust.

Of course greed is good with selfish Righties so they blame Obama and not the corporate slugs destroying the middle class.

I swear...Jesus could come down from the heavens and these idiots would blame Obama for letting an illegal alien in the country!

Wow, here is the best example of deliberately ignoring the consequences of bad legislation that I've ever run across. The evident belief that businesses should commit economic "suicide" in some nationalist fervor coupled with simple incapacity to look at the value of laws that they desperately want to support leads people to say some of the most inane things....

Oh....greed isn't good? Great....then let's get on the ball and start paying low wage workers enough to live on without food stamps....I'm tired of my tax dollars subsidizing billionaires who are too greedy and cheap to pay a wage people can live on.

Then stop subsidizing. This sounds like as good an argument as any against food stamps. Again, here is yet another example of more deliberate ignorance of the consequences of bad policy.

Great. You accuse them of being doom and gloom, but do nothing more than affirm their position. Face it, Obama's paralyzed in terms of legislation, and unwilling to make his legacy anything more than that.

So you want us to pretend full time jobs going down and part time being behind the increase is a good thing???

Remember when they were making fun of Bush's reports for calling McDonald's manufacturing jobs... This is a bit like that, only the left pretends that people losing full time jobs and gaining part time jobs is a "good sign" of a recovery.

Too bad there is such a skilled labor gap. Maybe some guys in the industry around here could have weekends off, or go down to 8 hour days.

Yeah....so...with the stock market on the rebound, housing prices creeping up again, profits up, and things starting to look up....why aren't they hiring?

Don't tell me Obamacare. It's been in the works for a while. They knew it was coming and they should have been prepared.

The bottom line is that you guys still worship them and their power like demigods...and they are still feeding off of the taxpayer dollar because you allow them to keep eternally fucking this country over.

1) the stock market run is being propped up by the $85 billion per month of the fed

2) obamacare has been in the works... But no one knows what it will costs and most of the exchanges are not ready. So if the government isnt ready, how do you expect corporations to plan for it? Even Dems are seeing the train wreck coming now.

3) the ones fucking us over repeatedly are the two parties (at the national level especially), wall st, and the incestuous relation both have with the ivy league 'elites'.

SF said the "F" word...gasp

Reality check... QE3 is $85 Billion per month "until"... Well, there was no real cut off point they just said until the jobs start coming back. They're still spending, maybe they read the report with a grain of truth that you can't plug into due to being wired only for Democratic Talking points rather than truth.

Another reality check, the government wrote the bill and still isn't prepared, the idea that companies that can't predict the cost increases have that "figured in" is denial of epic proportions and a display of ignorance seldom, if ever, seen in the history of economics. This is the bill that just keeps on giving new reasons for businesses to keep from hiring. This attempt to distract from the consequences of bad legislation is so completely obvious that really there is no further need to talk about alleged deliberate ignorance, you've been caught red-handed.

Worship whom? The people in power are your bodaggits, not mine. You are ignorant of my opinions and, dependably, rather than finding out what they may be you fill it with straw, shape it semi-manshaped, sometimes add some clothing, and call it an argument... You should feel free to feed that ignorance with a heaping pile of nonsense, it seems to be what you have in excess.

You mean saying inane things like making completely ridiculous "either/or" assumptions like you just did?

Oh no...I forgot. You aren't to be held to the same standards you set for everyone else.

No one claims businesses should "commit economic suicide" in order to "do their part", but can one expect rational discourse from the Obama haters like Damo?

Of course not...it's either monumentally overblown hyperbole or plain ol outright lies.
