I grew up with a friend who was raised with his mother and her partner, both of whom are very nice people. Patrick was raised in a beautiful house without any wants when growing up. That being said, he clearly stated to me one day without asking him that “I don’t care what anybody says…growing up in a homosexual household is the worst thing to do to a kid.” This statement was made when we were about 18 years old. Now this same friend, a talented musician and artist, is wandering through life high on any drug he can get his hands on living without a purpose.
