What should be done in Syria?

So it appears the government is using chemical weapons upon their own people....

Lyndsey Grahm is calling on the president to use military action to intervene.

I am sure the President will be attacked by the conservatives on here regardless of what he does. If we do as Lyndsey Grahm wants, you will attack him for being a war monger (See Libya), if he does nothing you will attack him as weak and wimpy.

So, before he takes any action... go on the record..

What do you want the USA to do in Syria?

You mean see Libya, Egypt, Afghanistan, you mean Syria where over 70,000 have been killed since fighting started, and where they have used Saddam's chemical weapons against civilians.

In Libya, the president took action. In Egypt, the president stayed out of it. In Afghanistan, the president has removed us slowly.

What do you want him to do in Syria?

Nothing. Syria should be handled by the UN, or NATO. This is not the US's problem.

Are we not part of the UN and NATO?
That's what we did in Libya, but they still complain about it.

Humanitarian? Really?

The false flags of 'humanitarianism' in Libya and WMD in Iraq have demonstrated that nothing the US and NATO claim can be trusted.

Hey bac, what's your opinion of Assad? I'd just like to have it on the record in the event that we do more to have him ousted.

I have no particular feelings or interest in Assad.

IF he is a problem, he is the problem of the Syrian people .. who by most accounts are in support of Assad.

You will have to take that up with those that complain. I would prefer we just stay out of the ordeal. Why is it we always have enough funds for war, but not enough funds to send children to Head Start. I am all for letting the rest of the world deal with Syria.
 
Drop notes out of drones to the Syrian citizens telling them they have 48 hours to get the fuck out of the way, then go After Assad with a big enough nuke to make sure he never sees the light of day again. I guarantee you Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan will be praying to Obama the next day.

Obama did not stay out of Egypt, he just sent taxpayers money, F-16 jets and tanks. All that, on top of the 1 billion a year they get in US foreign aid.

Well NATO has no jurisdiction in the matter, not they can do ANYTHING without the US anyways.

As for the OP, we should give metric tons of aid to the rebels (BBBs), as well as send medical workers for the rebels. And finally we should allow the formation of Abraham Lincoln brigades.

I support humanitarian aid, but military aid, not so much.
