Oh bullshit. She was still having sex, it was a PR move by her idiot mother. I will never forget that abstinence PSA she made with that idiot, "the situation". I think she was living with her bf at the time, or moved in with him shortly afterwards. She was 18 or maybe 19 at the time, and that other idiot was in his 20's. They were screwing and loving it, and that's what they should be doing! Teaching young people that their overwhelming sexual urges are something to be repressed leads directly to not having birth control on you when guess what? You can't repress them. By 16 normal hormonal surges make sexual urges overwhelming -that's how we were made! There is no shame in screwing and loving it when you are young, and certainly not at The Situation's age when he made that PSA. In fact if you are in your 20's right now and NOT screwing and loving it, see someone because you need to talk! What a waste!

There is no excuse for calling Bristol Palin the c word or a slut. I did not read Razor's OP because I do have him on IA, and I do believe most people do. I don't buy that his "tramp stamp" was non-gendered and I don't think the clueless rubes here do either. But I will buy that most of them never saw it. That guy is not exactly widely read. But even if he had gotten on here and called the Obama girls all kinds of names, that is not the excuse men are looking for, and I just know some of you are looking for one, to let loose on another young woman, or a woman of any age.

All I can say is that this would be an interesting thread to archive. That way when some of the Connedservatives on here with gapingly large mouths start shooting off about some female lib, we can point back to this thread and their defense of Bristol.

I personally think abstinence ONLY is the dumbest fucking thing in the world to teach teens with raging hormones. I'd say abstinence PREFERRED is the way to go, followed by the methods of birth control that are out there and the availability of Plan B if one were to make a mistake and have unprotected sex.

Abstinence is a good thing. You only have your virginity once. When it's gone, it's gone...so people should make sure they're losing for a better reason than "I'm horny"....be that as it may, only a fool would think that teens and young adults are going to reliably adhere to this message.

No, I am against calling just about any woman those names... but the Palin girl is more fair game than the Obama girls because she has intentionally put herself out there and she is profiting from doing so.

Part I. Paradise
The song opens with the characters reminiscing about days as a young high school couple on a date. They are parking by a lake and having fun, experiencing "paradise by the dashboard light", and the boy insists they're "gonna go all the way tonight."

Baseball broadcast
His pushing the matter is mirrored by New York Yankees announcer Phil Rizzuto broadcasting a portion of a baseball game that serves as a metaphor for his attempts to achieve his goal.

Rizzuto's baseball play-by-play call was recorded in 1976 at The Hit Factory in New York City by producer Todd Rundgren, Meat Loaf and Steinman. Rizzuto publicly maintained he was unaware that his contribution would be equated with sex in the finished song, but Meat Loaf asserts that Rizzuto only feigned ignorance to stifle some criticism from a priest and was fully aware of the context of what he was recording.[4]

Part II. Let Me Sleep on It
Just as the boy is about to "steal home base", the girl bursts out, telling him to "Stop right there!" She refuses to go any further unless the boy first promises to love her forever and marry her. Reluctant to make such a long-term commitment, the boy repeatedly asks her to continue on for the time being and promises to give his answer in the morning. However, as she is not giving in that easily, so that he finally cracks and gives his promise: "I started swearing to my God and on my mother's grave/That I would love you to the end of time".

Part III. Praying for the End of Time
Back in the present, the characters can no longer stand each other's presence. However, the male character cannot possibly break his vow and hence is now praying for the end of time to relieve him from his obligation. The song fades out on the situation, juxtaposing his gloomy "It was long ago, it was far away, it was so much better than it is today!" with her joyous "It never felt so good, it never felt so right, we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife."

You mean liberals, right? After all, the conservatives think the word "tramp", one equal to "slut", is appropriate when discussing women. My ire was directed towards one person, not the entire gender.
