There was a teensy bit of initial speculation that it might have something to do w/ it being tax day (speculation - not accusation). So, there was a lot of overblown defensiveness from the right about their beloved Tea Party.

not in a general sense retard, I am talking about specific individuals. The people that knew these people apparently are shocked, and they described this second suspect as an angel. he also went to boston latin i think. really good school.

Again, it's not as though these guys, who came to he US as refugees 10 years ago, have any actual connections to the very real Chechen terrorists. The guy on the run came here when he was 9 years old.

Wow, you are particularly specific today, have you caught engineerism? I used "Tea Party" in a more generic way as pointing out that Wolf Blitzer was quick to point out that it was Tax Day and Patriot Day, Chris Matthews (MSDNC) was quick to compare it with "far right" attacks... Michael Moore and his excitable "Tax Day" almost immediately following the attack. It was repeatedly "suggested" that it was some rightwinger by news pundits.

The hope that it wasn't a Muslim and was somehow domestic was palpable in some cases. I'm glad it wasn't, and wish it never happened. But I get sick of people who are willing to hope this kind of crap because they think it would help promote their political agenda.
 
i'm not keeping up with the story very much, mainly just to avoid having to deal with all the corrections and retractions later, but some give me a recap on the actual evidence they have that this is the guy that did it.
