Gun Registration Fails...So Sorry...LOL

lmao... I know, right over the takers head....

1st amendment . . . government can't make laws against speech, people have a free press, etc.

3rd amendment, sorry government, can't force your fucking troops in my house

4th amendment, sorry government, you can't look through my shit without a warrant.

5th amendment, sorry government, you can't force me to testify against myself, can't deprive me of due process

8th amendment, sorry government, you can't torture us or being excessively cruel.

"2nd amendment? Where in the constitution is there a precedent for distrusting the government????!?!? what does the 2nd amendment have to do with protecting oneself against the government? where does that come from? What is this?

I, as a taker believe that in spite of the entire context of the bill of rights limiting the governments power, and putting checks on the government, that the second amendment stands alone to only apply to personal self defense and nothing else!"

By taker....you really mean everyday people who work their asses off with little compensation and the government subsidized the wealthy EMPLOYERS by giving the EMPLOYEES food stamps so that they can feed their families?

Yeah...those EMPLOYERS ARE fucking takers.

so guys, how does it feel knowing that not even six year olds getting blasted in the face was enough to steamroll the constitution? :)

if you can't get it done now, you'll never get it done.

muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

i just love how celebrating the effectiveness of our glorious constitution pisses liberals off.

If celebrating means going against 90% of the population and 74% of NRA members....have at it.

But I have to question what happened to a government by, of and for the people?

p.s. I really think we have a new trinity branch forming. seems billy sty and I are always tag teaming these threads and just slaying the freedom haters left and right. super fun too.

guntrinity?

the freedomhead?

iunno.

the population is fickle. They don't pay attention to this shit, they say yeah yeah and nod their head but they don't really care. If they did, well.... damn, you have an amendment right around the corner. Get to it. If 90% were so passionate about this issue, surely the senators should be feeling the fury of their constituents right about now. What's that? They aren't? No one really cares that much? Yeah, that's what I thought.

How do you know they're not? You got a congressional hotline or something?

How do you know that the next time this comes up, you'll be wishing to God you would have taken Manchin/Toomey?

Like I said in a different thread....keep fucking over the masses, and they will revolt...then your precious Tea Party/Libertarian movement won't have a leg to stand on.

Your guys will be voted out and the libs you despise so much will fully take over.

And if you don't think it can happen, take a look at 2010, when Dems had a majority in both houses...what happened then? It can and will swing the other way if you guys keep doubling down on stupid

Guess the whim of gun owners not to have enhanced background checks defeated the rights of victims of gun violence to prevent at least SOME future deaths.

What further 'enhancement' was proposed other than the word 'enhanced' and the even vaguer 'mental health'? None you say? Why color me shocked.

Rights and their defense is never a whim. They are inherent upon birth and to be defended to the death.

So is the safety of innocents. Life, liberty and property....notice how life is first on the list?

takers mean many things. It's not just referencing freeloaders. it's about people that want to take rights, take freedom, etc. They never leave you alone, they are like pacman going after the little white dots.

Except nothing proposed would do that. It would only restrict people from doing legal things with other legal people. To pretend anything else is pure ignorance of the highest order.

To pretend that private sales of guns that follow(give or take) the scenario I described earlier doesn't put weapons in the hands if criminals and madmen is much more than ignorant....

keep living in fantasy world. you had your shot and you just got owned..

most of the gun grabbers are not as passionate as the gun defenders. It's a net loss to be a gun grabber senator. It wins you vey few points (that you could get somewhere else supporting some other progressive cause) but risks losing a lot of one-issue gun defender voters.
