Like I said, the idea that you need to "can" food in today's grocery store society is "laughable", unless you are the government (which is the largest and most successful prepper around, whether you know it or not billions and billions have been spent of your tax dollars to build myriad locations that would make the most successful prepper envious).. We must give up our right to can food to protect society from high capacity high pressure cookers and those evil preppers who are the only people who use them... sport cookers don't need high capacity pressure cookers.

Better license them now, pass legislation that already existing high capacity cookers be locked into pressure cooker safes and locks must be designed so that children cannot access the pressure cookers!

It's starting to feel like we're pushing the boundaries of absurdity. I don't think this will make people safer and it will probably pass, if it passes at all, because it impacts so few people. If we ever have a car bombing(Hopefully never) I expect the next day to be filled with, "Background checks for car owners!"

I'm not sure anything could have prevented this, but I don't know, possibly the terrorist watchlist group at the FBI, but again I don't know. Could we take time to think before jumping into a bunker and slamming the door? Sometimes bad things happen and we can't do anything about them.

Reporter Fran Townsend then added over the phone that “there is an arrest that has been made in the Boston bombing case based off of two independent videos.”

Earlier in the day, CNN reported shortly after 1 p.m. that a suspect has apparently been identified. The suspect’s name has not been made public as of this time, but he is reportedly a dark-skinned male, according to police.
