I pointed this out on the last thread on this topic. Since he made it clear he never intended to purchase the weapon for himself it became an illegal sale.

there is no exemption in the law for donations to law enforcement. period. he should have been arrested and charged, but we all know he won't be because you statists, and the government, want people to surrender and disarm.
