and, in the eighteen times that the word "felon" is mentioned in the Gun Control Act of 1968, none of the instances was in conjunction with employment of felons by firearms manufacturers.

got any other cites to back up your assertion?

Do you actually have a legal cite that backs up your assertion, or not? WHy not just give me the quote that says, "federal firearms licensees are prohibited from hiring convicted felons in any capacity". That would be cool.

and I clearly don't need to read the ENTIRE code for myself... all I need to do is search for keywords like "employ" to see that there is no prohibition in that code to any licensed firearms dealer from employing a convicted felon as a bookkeeper or a dishwasher at his facility.

what you clearly need to do is call a lawyer yourself and find out if what we've said is correct or not. I don't care if you don't want to believe me or not. what we've said is the law. we know this because one of us is an actual firearms dealer and the other of us has been a gun rights advocate for years. we know the law. so go call a lawyer and ask your questions.

so clearly you did not do a search for employ

really. how does an accountant receive possess or transport firearms or ammunition? he crunches numbers behind a computer monitor.

Or even that a guy machining parts for a gun violates that law unless he is making a gun for his personal use/posession.
Or sweeping the floor in a gun factory, etc.
