I didn't say she was intellectual I said she's not an idiot. Personally I define an intellectual as someone who holds a doctorate. I don't believe we have any intellectuals here at this time. We did have at least one but they no longer post here.

DO you know why they no longer post here?

Nah not an advanced degree. For instance I don't think anyone calls MBA's intellectuals. But a doctorate, yes. Of course, so many people have doctorates these days, and a lot of them are morons too. It's not like it used to be.

There are exceptions to this the other way too. Ornot does not have a doctorate and yes, I would term him an intellectual. One of only two we've had posting here to my knowledge.

Sorry Superfreak you are not an exception to my rule. :(

You say it in your own post... even morons can get a doctorate. A degree, regardless of the level, can be attained by those who are not intellectuals and those without doctorates can be intellectuals. Therefore it is quite ridiculous to use that as a measure.

I already stated there are a few exceptions, but it serves well as a general rule. You are so contrary. Sorry mister SF I don't agree with you. I also know a thing or three about intellectuals, but no need to get into that.
