Allowing partial birth abortions is what led this.

There are single issue voters and politicians keep these voters coming to the polls with these issues.

what ?.....what voters?....are you in the right thread, sweetlips ?....I don't remember PBA ever being brought up for a vote....

Partial birth abortion is not a medical term was simply my point, don't go pooping you pants over it. It is also not legal any longer unless it is necessary to save the life of the mother.

OooooHhhh....so its 'medical terms' you want.....I see......:palm:....can't you tell...?

You were making a defense for proper terms in another thread, so check yourself, Vanilla. Partial birth Horton was a phrase created by the media.

Politicians use issues, like abortion, and PBA to get their voters to the polls, is that simple enough language for you.

Thats mind-blowing.....

The fact that PBA wasn't outlawed is the fault of the people that have been trying to get it outlawed for 30 years.....?

thats too insane a claim to try and give a serious response to .... you've stumped me Jarod.....the last time I was left speechless was when my kid
asked "why is water wet, Dad"......

You couldn't explain to your children why water is wet? It isn't, it is simply the result you feel coming into contact with it, your poor children!

So water isn't wet after all, huh ?.....I suggest you not spread that around.....especially in the presence of doctors that treat mental illness....

Why is water wet?
Wetness is our description of what we feel when we put our hand in water. Saying water is wet is like saying that wood is hard or fire is hot.
Sensory receptors on our hand send information about the water to our brain. Our brain receives the information from our sensory receptors and processes it. A combination of temperature, pressure and the way water moves tells our brain that water is wet.

....

Poor Rana......almost as ignorant as a rock......with about the same sense of humor.

Dead children is less important than [abortion] rights. Get over it takers. You can't fucking stop this shit. It blows my mind that you fucking [conservative] idiots understand that banning stuff (with regards to [guns]) does not fucking work but that you don't see that it's the same thing with [abortion]. If someone is crazy and fucked up enough to kill kids they are going to find a way regardless. - Grind
Using this idiot logic, everything should be legal, even murder, rape and armed robbery, because if someone is crazy and fucked up enough to commit these crimes they are going to find a way regardless.

Had Republicans not wanted to use Partial Birth Abortion as a political football it would have been outlawed during the Clinton Administration.

????.....so Clinton and the Democrats really wanted to ban it, but he vetoed it three times because the Republicans were using it against him politically?......amazing.....I knew Democrats were dumb but I didn't know they were that dumb.....

lol....according to Jarod that's why Clinton kept vetoing it.....because the Republicans were using it to keep voters coming to the polls....

Vanilla Nova, you can't read, that is exactly what I said. You seriously need to be checked for dementia.

So then you support gun bans?

Murder and rape in and of themselves are crimes against another person and should be. Owning a gun, possessing marijuana or acting on your reproductive rights are not.

Now, one might argue that abortion should be thought of as a crime against the child. But that was not the idiotic logic presented in the OP. The OP argued that allowing legal abortions somehow lead to this. It's no different than arguing that legal ownership of AR-15s leads to Sandy Hook or that legal marijuana leads to gunn battles. It's non sequitur bullshit.

The Republicans intentionally added the poison pill by refusing to allow for an exception regarding the health of the Mother.

Basically, they could have banned the practice many years earlier had they been willing to make an exception for the rare instance where the procedure was needed when the health of the mother was in jeopardy.

Nonsense because then the left would be all about defining health of the Mother in jeopardy, and you know it
