Napalm

And using SF's logic if Nuclear power cannot be made perfectly safe we should do nothing to try and make it less dangerous.
Damn that lead shielding, just put the nuke waste in the rivers, etc.

Wrong. That is your logic. You want to pretend you can make people 'safe' by banning certain weapons/features. You are simply pretending that your 'solutions' make things 'safer'. It is an illusion. One that you refuse to let go of because you are a fear monger.

Then you use extreme hyperbole in some stupid attempt to make yourself look good.

to all pro gun patriots, just remember you are wasting your time with these fascists. you can point out till you are blue in the face that higher gun control areas have higher crime, how gun legislation wouldn't prevent another masacre, how it's unconstitutional, how what they think of as dangerous guns (like the ar-15) are actually one of the safest guns to have, it really doesn't matter. This is the one issue that liberals certifiably don't give a shit about what kind of argument you can make. They want your guns, fuck you. It's a completely irrational, emotional appeal they make, they wont be swayed by any type of logic. Save your sanity.

If you wanna do some hit and run posts just to poke them in the eyeballs, ok... just don't get caught up in their self created hell of insufferable nonsense.

This thread is not about race baiting, though it is trying to associate the wrong of racism with rifles.

It is yet more stupidity from the fear mongers.
No it's not. It's not about guns or racism at all. It's about the power images have to motivate people to do the right thing. If maybe people saw more of the consequences of horrific violence maybe they would be more proactive in preventing it. I think the OP makes an excellent point.

Then let me know... I say me because Darla and Dung get their panties bunched if I ask on behalf of people who read this thread...

What do you think an assault rifle is?

It is a gun used by the military that goes bang, bang, bang and kills people.

Some of us aren't as fickle as the rest of you and we still remember the dead children...

People who view violence daily are far less likely to be shocked by it or influenced by it.

Not trying to change the subject here but isn't that what anti-abortionists tried to do by posting aborted fetuses on billboards and signs at rallies? Do you think that had an effect (positive or negative)?

america is fickle. very short attention spans. sometimes it can be a godsend.

give americans a full tank of gas and some dorittos and they are set.

supporting the constitution = "out of touch" in a liberal fascist world like mott the hopeless's
Don't be trolling with me Gerber. The NRA is out of touch. They are extremist and they do a diservice to our 2nd ammendment rights by their extremism. They consistantly keep making this false equivalency that common sense laws that protect people are the equivalent of Jack booted Nazi's kicking in your doors and demanding you turn over your guns. It's a crock of bullshit. There is a lot that can be done to limit violence with guns that are not a threat to your second ammendment rights and that's the great lie of the out of touch NRA wackos.

Absolutely it has an affect. It has prevented some from obtaining an abortion and that's the whole point. Images can have a profound and powerfull affect.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED MOTHERFUCKER.

I don't agree, the people who were responders to Sandy Hookwere absolutely sickened by it in a way they were not in other violent crime cases.

A murder dectective told me one time that when a crime scene involves children it affects even the most hardened.

it must be a bummer.

but it takes mature reasoned individuals to argue from logic and not heartstrings. people like you sadly can't be trusted.
