Down 27% and up 41%

so since September 11, 2001, air traffic is down 27% yet the federal budget for the FAA is up 41%. Now this is according to Candy Crowley who the left loves after her "fact checking" after the Romney/Obama debate so she is obviously an unimpeachable source of fact.

So, things are slower yet the budgets are growing and we are supposed to believe that if sequester happens, flights will be grounded.

Who is really buying this bullshit? Oh yeah, the liberals who frequent this board

Pinheads are buying it lock, stock and barrel......funny Obama isn't threatening that Congress will have to take a pay cut or lose a few of their bloated staffs,
or maybe even take pension cut and lose a few perks.....cars, insurance, gym memberships, free meals, free travel, etc......
instead, school kids will starve and fireman will be laid off.....what utter bullshit.

It's interesting to watch who groans and thanks sometimes.

It will also be interesting to see if republicans can effectively point this out when some air traffic controllers get a paid vacation that Obama will call a furlough as he tries to make it as painful as possible only "cutting" where it will hurt rather than in the fraud and waste.

Given their history they will not be able to effectively point this out. Given that flights are down 27% it will primarily impact business people. But I am sure that CNN and MSNBC will be ready to dutifully do their part to report the discomfort.
