There is a scientific theory that claims to proove that the world was created in 6 days!

Well those are interesting questions but they are also questions that are outside the scope of science. Some of your statements are just unbelievably scientifically illiterate. ALL scientific beliefs must have a factual basis or by definition they wouldn't be a scientific belief. I mean give me a break....where the did folks like you and PiMP and Nova study science? Or did you? Did you ever study science beyond the elementary school level?

I studied humanities. At degree level.

So science can only prove some things and offer theories on some things but cannot explain or prove all things?

Menacing? How does my pointing out that you are ignorant of science equate with menacing? I'm just pointing out facts pal. You may have studied Humanities at degree level but I've studied Biology at the graduate level. I'm merely pointing out that your own words prove that you don't understand science, the scientific method nor do you comprehend what a scientific theory is yet you somehow feel privelaged to tell those of us who are better educated in science than you are how to teach our field? That just silly. A degree in humanities is all well and fine and needed but it isn't a degree in science and it certainly doesn't make you qualified to expound upon science education.

listen, dumbfuck......I have been ridiculing people on the left who don't know the difference between laws, theories, and total conjecture.....for some reason you want to construe my criticism of those who don't know the difference into being my own lack of knowledge.......the fact is, I know more about science and its philosophical underpinnings than you do, always have and always will.....

so how about you stop pretending you are too intelligent to engage in a discussion of this matter with the likes of me and actually sit down and defend your idiotic beliefs......

as for using "theory" out of context, do you deny that science requires a "theory" to be something that must be capable of experimentation?.....do you deny that there are people on this board that believe both abiogenesis and macro-evolution to be theories?..........do you admit that neither can ever qualify as theories?.......

No, there is no scientific theory that claims to prove the world was created in 6 days. There may be pseudo-science masquerading as a scientific theory, but that is not the same as actual scientific theories.

Well PiMP.....before you criticise someone for not knowing what a scientific theory, law or hypothesis is maybe you should learn what they are yourself? It's apparent to everyone on the board who's studied science beyond the 9th grade level that you don't have that first clue what you're talking about. In fact you're giving me some excellent laughes. :)
