Just makes you shake your head in wonder.....

As fervently as liberals believe in the seething hatred for humanity supposedly held by conservatives, they also believe in the purity of their own cause, akin
to groups like the KKK and Nazis.

The race hucksters in the Democratic Party are just parodies of themselves, and no one on the Left seems to notice it.

Take for example Democratic strategist and MSNBC political analyst Karen Finney, who was asked this week to weigh in on the GOP’s political future with Latino voters and said:

“As in ’05 and ’06, the death knell for Republicans is the tone of this conversation. … So these guys have to be very, very careful. And the other thing these guys know is, those crazy crackers on the right, if they start with their very hateful language, that it’s going to kill them in the same way that they learned at their little retreat that let’s not talk about rape.”

So ironic...The crazy crackers on the right and their hateful language ?....yet, she sees no racist, bigotry or hate in her own statement.....

They actually do exactly what they accuse and imagine others of doing .... go figure.

Both sides have their crazies and some make good money off of it.
Glenn Beck comes to mind for some unknown reason.

It isn't racism when you call another white person a cracker, like when I call you a cracker, sorry, no matter how hard you try, it isn't racism.

it is referencing another human being by a racial epithet derived to be derogatory. It is the exhibition and definition of racism. Any person that uses it is targeting or enhancing a persons or groups race in a derogatory manner.

Can you demonstrate a use or a context where it could be used where it does not do this?

Rerun, racist.

As I stated in the other thread from your fellow racist, "cracker" is nothing like the N word.

Them's a lot of fancy words. We're just humble pirates here.

It ain't racism, just like it ain't racism when African Americans use the "n word".

You understand what racism is, I assume?

No, with Popeye it is a term of endearment.

Using that logic,

I guess thats the same as a black person calling another black person a nigger.....

The trouble with that reasoning is that nigger is a white mans creation to denigrate blacks
and
cracker is a black mans creation to denigrate whites......both are racist to me no matter who the user is.....but

you're certainly entitled to rationalize in your own way...

How about Whitey and Blackie ?....nothing racist there is there ?

The "n" word, is a racial epithet. How it is used doesnt detract from its historical use and context and creation. Just because a black guy calls another black guy by the "n" word, doesnt negate the historical context or history of the word as used in application within our society. It doesnt have to infer that the user of the word is intentionally attempting to be maliciously derogatory to his friend... but the intent IS and has always been recognized to use the word in relation to the race for which it is meant to identify.

That IS racism... Racism is usually defined as views, practices and actions reflecting the belief that humanity is divided into distinct biological groups called races and that members of a certain race share certain attributes which make that group as a whole less desirable, more desirable, inferior or superior.

You think to BLACK guys refer to each other in that sense because it has no racial relevance? lol

After this, I'm going to cease in my efforts to help y'all. But here goes nuthin':

Racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior

Please see bolded text.

Why are you so ignorant and uneducated, Bravo?

Blacks call each other the N-word in an attempt to minimize it's effect, not to denigrate each other.

No, no - SR says "It doesnt have to infer that the user of the word is intentionally attempting to be maliciously derogatory to his friend... but the intent IS and has always been recognized to use the word in relation to the race for which it is meant to identify."

I swear - that guy must have been a great BS'er on essays in school...

Creating your strawman again....already....

We all know the definition of racism......the topic is racist words and racist terms....not racism.

It ain't the person that defines the words as racist......its the manner in which one uses them.

There is quite a list of racial slurs for whites, blacks and others online....

Really ? wow ?.....to minimize the effect, huh....is it working for ya....???

So.... is the term 'nigger' used with that intent .... to use the word in relation to the race for which it is meant to identify."

Is the term 'cracker' used to identify the race a specific race ?

Thats exactly what we've been trying to get you to understand ...seems you're getting it now.

That's wonderful; the definition of "racism" is now a "strawman."
