The President does not come across as a Christian. In fact, not once have I heard him say anything in support of Christians rights, specifically. I heave heard him support gay's rights, specifically, thus, the gay porn reference.

Your president is not required to be a christian. The fact that he does not bang the christian drum and scream 'hallelujah' and 'amen' at every possible opportunity is a good thing. It suggests he is not a dumb follower but has his own beliefs and philosophy.

I don't remember saying that the President was required to be a Christian. Where do you suppose I said that? Can you point out where I did say that? I'm pretty sure I never said that, in fact I know I haven't, so if I never said what you think I said, then the problem must lie somewhere with you. So what's your problem? Is it that you are paranoid? If that is the case, what do you think the root cause is of your paranoia? Even you must be smart enough to realize that you don't know everything, so maybe it's the unknown that scares the hell out of you, and that has turned you into some kind of paranoid delusional. I know that God lives, and so do millions of others. So the real question is, why would that threaten you? Is it because you are selfish, and hate the thought of someone infinitely smarter and more powerful than you might require something of you? Or maybe it's that you think you are smarter and wiser than every single Christian on the face of this planet. I'm pretty damn sure that isn't true, so what is it about my beliefs that threatens you?

Nothing interests you that was not taught at your church's knee. I do not hate people like you, why on earth should I. I do not hate people who believe that sea dragons follow ships or that walking backwards makes them younger. there really is nothing to hate. You may not have been accused of being mentally ill, although I do wonder at your use of the word 'accused'. But just because you have not been diagnosed does not mean you are sane - if anyone knows what 'sane' is. The dictionary says it means 'marked by sound judgement' yet you place all your faith in judgement into the imaginary hands of a non existant deity. so you cannot have sound judgement. Another definition is 'in one's right mind', rather more difficult since there must be a deal of subjectivity in that.
But if we look logically we will see that the first order of things was the evolution of all living things and that it was only with the advent of homo sapiens that there appeared a requirement for a god of explanations. Over two thousand gods were 'invented' to serve this purpose several of which still exist in the minds of the uneducated and superstitious to this day. So man made the conscious decision to invent something to answer his questions.
Do you believe in Zeus? In Krishna? In Allah? In Brigantia? Horos? Pangu? Tin Hau? Perhaps you haven't actually heard of some of them, perhaps you have heard of them but not investigated their powers or significance.
No you are a proud christian whose faith can never be questioned, certainly never shaken. Yet had circumstances decreed that you were born in Sri Lanka or in Laos or in Japan you would have completely different beliefs.

Not at all. I believe my birth had a purpose. I belive I sat with God and we both chose the exact time, date and location of my birth. Perhaps that is one reason why my faith is unwavering. Because God wanted me here, in America, where freedom still exists, and where my faith can abound. Of course, one day, haters like you could very well hold a gun to my head and try to force me to renounce my religion, but that time is not now.
Do you fantasize about this. I am genuinely interested if you daydream about the Rapture or being martyred for your faith. If I go back to school, as I plan, I am making this subject my thesis.
