People give their money to corporations. Corporations are the leaders of industry, they help make the world a better place.

The takers actually will threaten you with jailtime if you don't hand over your money. They commit acts of violence on the makers every single day. It's so common you don't even realize it.

They do, do they? Well I don't know what never, never land you're living in but here in out reality based world if the poor and working class people pulled a John Galt on your ass and stopped working or producing you'd get real uncomfortable real fucking quick and you find out fast just how productive they really are.

I mean this is a stupid fucking polls. Corporations don't have consciences, they don't have morals or ethics either unless they are forced upon them. Corporations exist to maximize profits. That is their mission, that is what they do. Left unregulated there is no more heartless, cruel, thoughtless and uncaring entity than a corporation cause that is not their mission. Their mission is to maximize profits and they don't particularly care how it's done as long as that goal is met.

Corporations are like any other human association. They display many of our great strengths and many of our flaws. They serve a function but left to their own devices, with out regulations, there is no more ruthlessly exploitative organziation on the planet than a limited liability corporation.

As for being producers. Corporations can be makers or takers too. It depends on how they obtain their wealth. I can name many corporations who produce little, if anything, but generate huge profits. I assure you that they are takers.

I love when people who have little, if any, productive skills, start lecturing those whom do have, about being makers and takers.

I'd suggest that before you start criticising anyone about being a taker that you show us just what kind of maker you are. Cause otherwise you're just a smoke blowing hypocrit.

Ya know, what's ironic about that is that most of the people of my generation and older who identify themselves as "hippes" are by and large the most independent people I know and within the contraint of knowing how to live well, pretty damned succesful too.

One of the wealthiest people I know is an old hippie who's an organic farmer. My chiropractor in a 58 YO Hippie with a long gray pony tail. He has a house in the country that's about three times the size of mine. Everytime I go to his office to get worked on his waiting room is packed. I don't know what kind of money that old hippy makes but he has to be making far more than I am.....and I'm doing pretty good at the moment.

Nope, there are actual studies that show people who have had brain damage and have lost their emotions are unable to make decisions. They can solve math problems, but decision making is difficult.

Damasio is the name of the neurologist that did the research, educate yourself!

Nope, you can't even recall correctly how you phrased it! You said, " people who rely on feeling to make decisions are stupid" and that isn't the case.
