Guess it's okay to post about rape in India but Islamophobes will ignore what's happening in their own country.

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (KDKA) — Steubenville, Ohio, is a typical small town where the high school football team is intertwined with the community’s image. “The high school football is kind of a hope for us, an inspiration,” said Jerry Barilla, a resident of Steubenville. But in mid-August, during a post-scrimmage party, investigators say some members of the Big Red football team were allegedly videotaped with a teenage girl who had passed out. The girl did not remember being assaulted until the videos were posted to YouTube.

Two star Big Red players were arrested and charged with rape, but the area has been consumed by claims other players may have been involved and allegedly let off the hook.

“They ought to get the rest of them; I heard there was six of them,” said one Steubenville resident.

The cover-up charge has gone viral, and the town getting national media attention."

And you're gonna claim this wasn't about sex, right....it was all about violence and/or control.......?

Yet the details of this rape show just the opposite.....no violence, no beating, no blood, no broken bones or even bruises......
She was unaware she was even raped......
Control ?....control is catch all and can mean nothing to anything......the girl was passed out, there was no resistance to control....like screwing a warm
jar of Vaseline.....

IT WAS SEX and ONLY SEX...so we can put that myth to rest once and for all.......

Rape is a violent act, regardless of the circumstances.

But it wasn't a Muslim, right? I'm sure you'll get a lot of support from the other Islamophobe righties on this one, like you did on the other thread.
 
so basically making someone a literal temporary slave to your own selfish desires is not a violent act? It's not violent if there isn't blood or broken bones? ok...
 
I hope all the rapists are jailed for life.
I'm inclined to lay money down to bet that some liberal will release them early , out of compassion , so they can re offend.

Aside from the fact that your article only deals with college date rape, there is no excuse for rape. I don't care if it's all about getting a nut off or control. Here's some more info:
* 84% of women who were raped knew their assailants.

* 57% of rapes occurred on a date.

* 25% of men surveyed believed that rape was acceptable if: the women asks the man out; if the man pays for the date, or the woman goes back to the man’s room after the date.

* 33% of males surveyed said they would commit rape if they definitely could escape detection.

* 84% of male students who had committed acts that clearly met the legal definition of rape said what they had done was definitely not rape.

* 75% of male and 55% of female students in an occurrence of date rape had been drinking or using drugs.

* Only a quarter to a third of women whose sexual assaults met the legal definition of rape considered themselves rape victims.

* Many women do not report or characterize their victimization as a crime for reasons such as embarrassment, because they do not want to define someone who assaulted them as a rapist, or because they do not know the legal definition of rape. Many women blame themselves.

* Nearly 5% of college women are victimized in any given year, meaning over 4 years one-fifth to one quarter of a cohort of women may be assaulted. Similar numbers experienced attempted rape.

* The majority of rapes occur in living quarters--60% in victim’s residence, 10 % in a fraternity, 31 % in other living quarters. Off campus victimizations also took place in bars, dance clubs and work settings.

* 50% of high school boys and 42% of girls said there were times it was acceptable for a male to hold a female down and physically force her to engage in intercourse.
