It's a pretty bad deal. It doesn't address any of the real issues, and just postpones a lot of what they really need to do.

Washington is really broken. It just doesn't work anymore.

Its a good deal for what it addressed... but it did not address the bulk of what needs addressing.

So why are you jubilant? If it doesn't address what's important, why aren't you critical of the democrats for caving?

It seems you are looking past a pile of shit (your party) to focus on a few turds (the repuclicans)

Hell, most of you Republicans voted for Paul Ryan... He supported the Bill.

Thing is right...its a bad deal, a very bad deal.....gave some life to the class warfare the left loves so much, rubbed republican noses in the dirt and did some more
"I won and you lose" taunting......but does zero for the economy, and as the tax money starts to leave the economy we'll find our how it actually hurts it........its another feel good bill the left is famous for.....

Jarod thinks taxing the rich is somehow helpful for some strange reason but next year, when the taxes start to affect the economy, he'll be ready to blame the Republicans
for any adverse outcomes.....and praise Obama for any perceived benefits.....

The fiscal cliff was a manufactured crisis from which we were saved by the people that manufactured the crisis in the first instance, but we're saved for only two months when we get the next manufactured crisis and have the manufacturers of that crisis save us again.

Hell of a way to run a country.

It addressed nothing when it came to spending, and that is where the problem lies. And then there is this,http://www.rr.com/politics/topic/ar...Despite_deal_taxes_to_rise_for_most_Americans, so minus some sort of pay raise which is less likely with the economy the way it is I will now make less next year yippee and I am middle class so tell me again how this helped me. All it did was punish successful people, and give the idiots in Washington more to give away.

I disagree the problem lies at the discrepancy between spending and revenue. It started about the time the tax cut was put in place, that happened to be about the same time we entered a major war. In the history of the United States our government has not been dumb enough to cut taxes while entering a war, untill Bush and his idiots.

Spending needs to be addressed, but half the problem with revenue and that has now been addressed.

you completely ignored the fact that although Democrats claim to champion the Middle Class, they just allowed the taxes to go up on the middle class, but the same idiots will pull the lever for another lying democrat 4 years from now.
