He's a national figure because he was the first sophmore to win the Heisman Trophy and Florida won two national championships while he was there. There was endless talk about him while he was in college and it has just continued into the pros.

I disagree. Many don't follow college football. His national fame was due in large part to his religious antics on the field. It certainly wasn't due to his athletic accomplishments in the pros. He was billed as the miracle worker.

We're talking about sports. He's a great kid, who does a lot of good deeds. He's stuck in the ultra religious parameters, and his ad for Focus On The Family raised a few eyebrows. But Xtians who don't follow sports eat it up.

I did not see the Jets vs Chargers game but as usual the Jets lost with their "New" quarterback McElroy who fumbled, and that fat sAss Ryan used a backup underling quarterback instesad of Tebow, they never used Tebow for nuttin. All you people out there have got to realize that Politics is becoming an influence in sports team's makeup, who they use and who they don't use and even announcers will have their favorite Liberal players. It all comes down to; The New York Libs do not like Tebow because he is religious and the vast Gay community in New York are against religion because the Bible does not condone the Gay lifestyle, and that is it in a nutshell. Now the Libs will post all their BS talking points, probably written by George Soros's BrainWasher Crew. When I mention Cabalistas on here, I am not kidding around, I honestly believe that there is a network of Professional Liberal posters who post all over the internet, using different user names all day and night and they get payed for it. My guess again is that George Soros is somehow involved? What we need is for one of those pros to pull a Sammy Gravano and spill the beans to US.

You know that's a good point. It's not a big deal when a Catholic genuflects before or after a play.
