Will you smoke pot/smoke more pot if it becomes legal in your state?

It was just a bunch of biased nonsense where you pretend your drug of choice is somehow less depraved than mj or more cultured.

If you drink a pint of whiskey it will have an effect on you. If you're an alcoholic, which you seem proud to be for some strange reason, with a high tolerance it might not make you sloppy drunk but it will have an effect.

People drink for the high. People smoke for the high. They might tell themselves that they really just enjoy the taste of tasty buds or whiskey but that is mostly bullshit.

You are no better than a crack head.

Not saying you didn't throw up, just that it probably wasn't caused by the pot.

Supporters of medical cannabis argue that cannabis does have several well-documented beneficial effects.[SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][6][/SUP] Among these are: the amelioration of nausea and vomiting, stimulation of hunger in chemotherapy and AIDS patients, lowered intraocular eye pressure (shown to be effective for treating glaucoma), as well as gastrointestinal illness.

I don't think it was necessarily the pot, but my reaction to it. I experienced mild hallucinations and felt like I was spinning out of control. Many have this reaction on their first use.

Hickenlooper hates it because he believes his bars won't make as much money if it is legal. I think that is a poor assumption.

It's a horrible assumption, you will still have people who drink and people who smoke ns people ho do both. The people who do both will increase. The people ho smoke will grow.

It is win, win.

I guess I should not limit it to smoking.. I was reading the Colorado law, you can have marijuana infused products like brownies also.

But the simple question is...

Would a change in the law make you more likely to use the product?

I dont smoke pot. I have a handfull of times, in College and after... I enjoyed it. I guess the reason I dont ever smoke it is an availability issue, I dont know where I would get any, and because it is "illegal" here in Florida I would have to study how to get it without getting arrested. An arrest would harm my career. Then there is the issue of having my kids seeing me break the law, which I am not sure I am comfortable with, so I would have to hide it. That leads to the issue of being a hipocrate with my kids, which is something I try to avoid.

So I guess the answer to my own question is that if it were available in stores, I would likely use it recreationally but rarely.

Drinking is delicious, and one does not drink to get drunk (strictly speaking). You don't light up for any reason other than getting high (to whatever degree you like).

Now there's nothing wrong with wanting to get high, or drunk, but you shouldn't pretend that there is much correlation between drinking a pint of Founders Old Dirty Bastard because the taste is better than teenage pussy, and smoking a join because you want to watch Fantasia and have a good time doing it.

And, no, I wouldn't smoke. Legality isn't a barrier for me, I simply have no desire to try it.

Oh, baloney! Even one drink makes changes in your system, you may not be as aware of the changes, but they occur.

Just as in drinking, one toke relaxes you, one drink relaxes you, both get you "high", now drunk and motherfingstoned, are just greater degrees of the experience.

Why drink when you can smoke... It seems to me to be a better high and less negative side effects.
