Will you smoke pot/smoke more pot if it becomes legal in your state?

My only friend who I belive smokes pot does not trust me because of my law enforcement background.

Thats what I am trying to understand, how did the first person get introduced? And do they really just meet on the street or has it turned into more of a come to my house deal. Its a world Ive never known the inside of.

I.

I don't know Jarod. I will bring my dealer all these questions next time I see him. I can't wait to see his face.

Do you see him in a house? On the street? Are you friends? Do you hang out together?

I guess it depends on where you live, but its not like the police are trolling a political discussion board to get a woman who bought 12 grams last year....

Hell, they would refuse to prosecute you in most of the country, even if its technically illegal.

You and me both dude. I have nothing against it I just have zero desire to do it.

I get leaning, but for someone who drinks (especially as much as you!) I don't. It relaxes you, let's your mind just wander and you can get very creative, it is also a huge sexual enhancement. It lowers all inhibitions and sparks your, let's say, drive. You can mix it with a couple of drinks when out, which has a slightly different effect. I really don't see the down side to pot.

Jarod there are people here who know my name, and people not here who read this board who know my name, and I really don't want to fuck my dealer. He's black and they WILL put him in jail. I had no idea you were going to get so weird about the whole thing. Holy shit.

No more comment from me.

I have an addictive personality (look at me and this board) and the last thing I need is to start taking a liking to something that is deemed illegal. Trust me, I've wanted to try it to see what it would be like but my concern is once I've done it once they'll be nothing to hold me back so I just haven't done it.

I can see why your friend doesn't discuss it with you now. :)

Haha! To pass the bar you have to have book smarts which he seemingly does but book smarts and street smarts are two very different things and based on these questions might be quite lacking in the latter.

I respect that, I would certantly not want anyone to get in trouble. I dont think I was weird.

I enjoyed it the two or three times I tried it.

The first time however I was very disappointed because I vomited and never got to sleep with my date as I was sure I was going to be able to do before I vomited.

You didn't vomit from smoking pot.

Have you ever had a drink? If so whats the difference to you?

Drinking is delicious, and one does not drink to get drunk (strictly speaking). You don't light up for any reason other than getting high (to whatever degree you like).

Now there's nothing wrong with wanting to get high, or drunk, but you shouldn't pretend that there is much correlation between drinking a pint of Founders Old Dirty Bastard because the taste is better than teenage pussy, and smoking a join because you want to watch Fantasia and have a good time doing it.

And, no, I wouldn't smoke. Legality isn't a barrier for me, I simply have no desire to try it.

I guess I should not limit it to smoking.. I was reading the Colorado law, you can have marijuana infused products like brownies also.

But the simple question is...

Would a change in the law make you more likely to use the product?

I dont smoke pot. I have a handfull of times, in College and after... I enjoyed it. I guess the reason I dont ever smoke it is an availability issue, I dont know where I would get any, and because it is "illegal" here in Florida I would have to study how to get it without getting arrested. An arrest would harm my career. Then there is the issue of having my kids seeing me break the law, which I am not sure I am comfortable with, so I would have to hide it. That leads to the issue of being a hipocrate with my kids, which is something I try to avoid.

So I guess the answer to my own question is that if it were available in stores, I would likely use it recreationally but rarely.

i would not smoke it at all, i would make buddah butter from it though and use it as necessary for pain or to help me sleep while my wife would use it for irritable bowel syndrome plus i would grow my own so i knew what chemicals were used to produce it

F*cking Ay?!!

Pot Smokers Get Nod to Light Up
Governor signs law on "historic day"

Pot smokers formally gained the right to light up in Colorado on Monday as Governor John Hickenlooper
signed into effect a measure legalizing marijuana for adults in what proponents hailed as a "historic day."

Hickenlooper's signature put Colorado on a possible collision course with Obama, who f-ing HATES legal pot.

"Voters were loud and clear on Election Day," Hickenlooper said. "We will begin working immediately
with the General Assembly and state agencies to implement Amendment 64."

Hickenlooper, a Democrat who had opposed the amendment but said he would respect the will of voters,
had been required by law to issue the executive order, or "official declaration of the vote," within 30 days
of certification by Colorado's secretary of state on December 6.

That's exactly how President No-Respect-for-the-Voters should handle this,
by saying
he was against the law but he's going to allow Colorado to set their own course.

You won the election, Barack - what are you afraid of?
Are you afraid history will say you respected the will of the voters?
