there is no evidence of god....fair enough...we have speed of light, we have billions (so far as we know) of 'light years' just in our galaxy. galaxies in the universe are like stars in our galaxy.

No. I misread the OP from the get go. I thought the claim was Maher's wit wasn't matched by anyone on the right. I was wrong in my post. Gutfeld is one of my fav political commentators and nearly always makes me laugh.

Just so we're on the same page.

The speed of light or even the design of the atom (someone had tried to use this as an argument the same way it might look you're gonna try and use the Speed of Light or "light years" is why I brought it up) aren't evidence that there's an omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent supernatural being...there's no "Made by God" sign or even qualitative analysis backed by centuries worth of empirical peer reviewed data that proves without a doubt there's evidence of God.

Fair enough......but I wouldn't consider Maher's brand of ridicule and filthy name calling, especially of women, wit, by a long shot....
any more than a comic that has to use the words fuck and shit in his routine a hundred times while idiots laugh and think its humor....I'm no prude but that kind of
joke is no more funny than jokes about blacks and watermelon....or Jews and money....

Is HBO a cable channel or not? If it's a cable channel then it wasn't broadcast 'on the air' in common usage. Did he call the cunt Palin by name? HBO and premium channels have freedoms not common to 'on the air' broadcasts, yes. Limbaugh uses slander over the airwaves but you don't say anything about that...just Maher, who's show is on a pay per view basis. I don't understand your problem but I never understand your problems.
