I didn't see reasonable doubt. But as I said, juries see more than I do and I generally believe in the system. Surprise isn't the same thing as outrage.
Oh I wasn't surprized at all. I had the opportunity to see a good part of the trial. Keep in mind I was working on very similiar analytical techniques with similiar sampling, preservation and chain of custody procedures and I was appalled, grossed out and just plain flabergasted at the utter incompetence of the LA county forensics department. The detectives handling the case made some pretty egregious fuck ups too. My take on the case was that there was a damned high probability that a guilty man may have walked due to their fuck ups and incompetence. Thanks to their incompetence though we'll never know for sure.

It isn't about what anyone here will do. It's about what he will do with his life. He's already paid dearly for his actions. He'll be broke for quite some time. Likewise, he'll live in fear for the rest of his life. He'll never know when someone will stand their ground against him.

And, he will more than likely face a civil trial that will leave him with the burden of insurmountable debt forever.

The Martins do not want to go to a civil trial because then their thug sons history will be there for all to see. They need to accept that their son was a common thug who paid for his actions. Jorge Zimmerman will however be rich at the expense of NBC and I say God bless him. So he will be able to hire all the protection he needs. But, it is funny that you say his life will be at risk. By whom? White folks? Hispanics? Who is it that would want to take the life of an innocent hispanic?

You seem to be implying that black folk are like fanatical muslims who don't get their way and that they will do something violent. Is that what you are implying?

As for what I will do when Jorge Zimmerman is found innocent, I will have faith restored in the American justice system and that despite the efforts of the corrupt media to try and convict a man in the public square before he has had a fair hearing, justice will have prevailed.

My lack of faith in the American prosecutorial system will be confirmed.

Sounds like they made almost as many mistakes as the Boulder County DA did in the Jon Benet Ramsey case. That one was inexcusable, that people kept voting her back nearly made me puke.

I was a bit surprised by the verdict, but I do believe that they had their day in court and somebody screwed up, but certainly not that it should be turned on its head. We have double jeopardy rules, etc. that I would fight to protect. He was acquitted, that is what it is.

You really need to control yourself, while posting; because you allowed your drool of glee to stain your keyboard.

I agree. Any ire in that case should be directed at the LA DA and Coroners office.

Let's see:
1. the left brought OJ into the mix (not sure why)
2. one poster seems to want Zimmerman to suffer, even if he's found not quilty
3. one poster thinks that the poll doesn't contain the correct responses and yet never offered one
4. the majority of the discussion, once again turns into people pointing fingers at each other

<sigh>

What percent of Colored Males are in prison??

Anyone would have done as George Zimmerman did faced with a Colored thug, I think
