let's be truthful for once and just say the most popular man won, not the best. especially since neither Obama nor Romney had any inclination to follow, uphold, or defend the constitution.
Why say that? Obama is following the "Founding Fathers' intentions regarding the Constitution's meaning and what they hoped the Constitution would achieve."

"promote the general Welfare" That means when 45,000 citizens are needlessly dying every year a decent President will get off his ass and try to do something about it which is precisely what Obama did. The Repubs tried to do the contrary by saying America can't afford to look after it's ill citizens. It will bankrupt the country. It's punishing the innovators, the job creators, the people who believe their back yard pool just isn't big enough and they need to enlarge it and we shouldn't be taking their money to save people's lives.
The best man won. The man who understands the Founding Fathers wanted the best conditions possible for the people. The best life they could have. Not just the 1% but "we, the people."
