NASA says its Curiosity rover has made a discovery on Mars, but isn't saying more.

In fact, it is really uncomfortable for me to be here having to defend them against ruthless attacks from idiots and the ignorant. But no one else seems to want to do so, therefore here I am. I can't really argue Christian theology with another Christian, I am totally unqualified for the task, but I can certainly discuss with an anti-Christian bigot, the aspects of Christianity they are most ignorant about.

Most mainstream (and I include Southern Baptists) Christians, do not believe the Earth is 6k years old, or that "evolution" is sacrilegious and impossible, or even that it contradicts the story of God's creation. I have not done a survey, but would venture to guess, most of them don't believe that God could have ONLY created life here on Earth, and the omnipotent entity they call God, couldn't have possibly created life elsewhere in the universe. For you to be making such wild baseless claims, is merely a testament to just how bigoted you are against Christian people.

And by "you" I don't mean you personally, but anyone who would try and make such claims... like Jughead.

He's not talking about the theory espoused by Darwin. He is referring to a post-modern theory regarding Abiogenesis, where people have taken Darwin's theories to make up their own theory of origin, and call it "Evolutionary Theory." Most mainstream Christians do not believe that Darwin's theory of evolution contradicts The Bible.
