Why Romney lost.

1) The evangelical vote was not behind him, seeing that he is a Mormon.

2) The immigrant vote. The Majority of immigrants voted for Obama, thanks to the south's anti-immigration stance( The GOP is trying to correct that problem now by reaching out to immigrants).

3) The woman's vote. Most women want the right to choose abortion.

4) the elderly vote. Most elderly understand that Obamacare is in their best interest.

5) the gay vote. If you notice there is a major push via entertainment to promote homosexuality. Therefore more and more people are being raised tolerant and sympathetic to homosexuality.

6) The republicans have always depended on the Protestant vote, though in an ever increaseing secular world that Republican candidates support, their Protestant base is quickly shrinking.

Like seriously. Who is going to vote for a super wealthy Mormon that believes he can be a god? Other then his wealthy constituants and Mormons????

actually, the immigrant, women, gay vote were not that different from previous elections.

the reality is, romney was a weak candidate. like obama, he had no real positions, except lower taxes. his 47% comment sank him. i know quite a few people who stopped supporting him after that. the guy has almost no charisma, going against a charismatic incumbent...he had to bring it and he didn't. he did well in the first debate, showing he is good at that, but he just simply could not connect with most americans, given his comments and his wife's comments.

Americans have rejected the conservative ideology that got us into this mess. We know that a Republicon will continue to redistribute the wealth upward because 'conservatives' work for the benefit of big business and their international donors.
