When was the last time you ate a twinky? Whethr or not your employees are union has nothing to do with the fact that sales have declined by over 4% over the last three years and that sales have been declining at this rate for over a decade. How many business models, union or not, could survive such a decline in sales? Hostes ignored their brand, milked their profits, allowed product quality to decline and reduced product size, stopped advertizing and somehow this is the unions fault they went belly up?

Spare me the reverse socialism. Hostess went belly up cause they have piss poor managers and only because they have piss poor managers.

Well thats kind of my point. I can't remember the last time I ate a Hostess product either and with the increase in the snack markets that is currently occurring why has Hostesses sales declined every year for over ten years?

I saw a worker on cnbc yesterday.

The company wanted to take the money out of their pensions and use it shore up the company.

Three dollars an hour worth of wages they put in for every hour they worked.

The companys plan for the company to just take that money and use it and NOT ever reimburse the employee.

The guy has a take home pay of 16 bucks an hour.


the guy made less than 40,000 a year take home.

so the company fucks up and jsut gets to take this guys tiny pension and blow it too?
