This man, compliant with all state laws in montana, sentenced to 80 years behind bars because he supplied medical marijuana patients.

A majority of americans now support legalization. This is a fucking travesty, that you would take away a mans life, for what? Growing a plant PROVEN to be less dangerous than alcohol? How can these motherfuckers in congress be so fucking stupid?

This is another reason why big government is NEVER the answer. Because states and local communities are the ones best fit to decide what is good for THEIR community. And when the communities of montana and elsewhere say "we WANT this" we still get the fucking pathetic, evil jack booted THUGS from our government smashing down doors, tearing apart families for whatever fucked up morals they have.

You give permission for all the inbred fucks from alabama and mississippi to have a part in ruling over YOUR life.

If you are a progressive, big government harms you too. If you give power to the government to be used, don't be surprised when it's eventually used against YOU.

You are a progressive and love a strong federal government? Well lets see how much you like a strong federal government that removes a woman's right to choose, or peoples right to euthanasia, or what to put in your body, or gay rights, etc

Apparently this guy was raising his teenage son on his own. Oh well, kid can go to a foster home now. At least a government worker now has a new case to work on.

I know you don't know how to read I love America, but try to get someone you trust to hold your hand and walk you through it. If you drink alcohol you are doing WAY more harm to your body than if you smoke marijuana. There are no deaths in the history of mankind linked specifically to smoking weed. That's a broad brush you're using there.

But big government has enforced a woman’s right to choose. Big government has enforced equal rights regarding the discrimination practiced by several states and big government is enforcing the right of everyone to obtain medical care. How many states have a government health care plan? How many states allowed abortions before Roe vs. Wade? How many states had a plan similar to SS?

Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. Big government is the answer. The question is why don’t people demand more from their government? Well, we know the answer, don’t we? We’re taught to just care for ourselves. Grab all you can and to hell with everyone else so people don’t get involved when others have problems. The motto is, “It’s not my problem”, and that’s the problem.

If one does not give a damn whether their neighbor has sufficient food to eat why should the neighbor give a damn if one has no medical marijuana? Should the guy struggling to feed his family give a damn if a prosperous grower loses everything and ends up in jail? Did the grower/businessman bitch about taxes and vote for someone (Romney) who thinks half the country is made up of lazy welfare bums?

There is a choice to make. One is to pit neighbor against neighbor, glorify greed, condemn the less fortunate and the other choice is….well, the exact opposite. Is it so difficult to see the power of government is based on promoting the former? Unchecked capitalism is the ultimate divide and conquer and that’s precisely what we have. Oh, there’s the occasional law but the underlying code is to beat your neighbor. Grab more than him/her and if the Feds help eliminate the competition, why not? That’s why people love to see the mighty fall. Sure, jealousy plays a part but we’re taught to grab. We’re to grab all we can and to hell with other people so when the Feds grab from someone, lowering them financially, it automatically raises those below them. This attitude is the result of our current system.

It’s the same with abortion. Nothing was more pleasurable, for some, than to see the popular gal become pregnant and denied an abortion. Ostracized by the community, in many cases sentenced to a life of poverty….justice couldn’t be sweeter.

People have to open their eyes and their minds. Before we can get people to fight for the rights of others, like the guy mentioned in your post, we have to get people concerned about the welfare of others.

On that note I’m going to put on my winter tires. The 4X4 winter season is just round the corner. YIPPEE.

herbal medicines have been used for thousands of years. Tell us, what is the difference between taking vicoden and percocet for pain vs. marijuana? Oh yeah, the first two are truly bad for you and can lead to addiction to hard drugs.

what don't you buy? MJ has been proven to alleviate pain. It is a fact. It is also far easier on your body than most of the industrial crap the medical system tries to cram down the throats of patients.
