Pink slips in the works

at least the healthcare reform bill allows employers with less than 50 employees to be exempted from having to offer benefits. How long until that rule changes?

Dude, there are a ton of people out of work. I know you and other investors are making money--what's new? people with money make money-- but people less fortunate are not able to use the funds they need to survive for investing, so STFU about how good the economy supposedly is. Unemployment is ridiculously high for you to be crowing about how awesome things are... that is unless you're a sociopath

What a drama queen
Things are way better than 4 years ago and improving. Your boy couldn't make the case otherwise.
There are always unemployed.

All this whining and no one has taken a look on the bright side. After a cursory look at the job numbers in Bravo's first post there are approximately 5,000 jobs mentioned. That's 5,000 pink slips. That's 5,000 pieces of paper, probably in triplicate, produced by someone cutting trees, more workers processing the wood into paper, the people who make and supply the ink, the folks who put the ink to paper and make the actual slips, the transport companies delivering the slips to stores, the store personnel serving the customers who purchase the slips and, finally, the employees at each company filling out the slips.

People are so pessimistic today. :(

That was months ago. Wait until the Obamacare regulations get closer to hitting these employers.

These are only the first dominoes to fall. The tip of the iceberg and no more waivers.

Do you really think they will cut employees if the demand for their product is there?
Most employers are already running close to minimum employees to keep their business going.

If they are fat people that is not too many. Maybe 5 really fat people per ton.
Maybe 6.5 Rush Limbaughs.

But you're not better than 8 years ago.....
4 years ago we were in the middle of the worst economy in decades....it couldn't freakin' get much worse than it was....the improvement is funded by borrowed money,
not an improving economy and its impossible to sustain....
Yeah, there are always unemployed, 5 % is better than 15%.....

It depends on their overhead and how much it will cut their gains.

Why do you think so many waivers were given out?
