Republicans win back control of Wisconsin Senate

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Republicans have reclaimed control of the state Senate, putting them a step away from free rein across state government once again.

Results from Tuesday’s elections show Republicans captured an open seat and four incumbent Republicans fended off challengers, giving them the majority.

If Republicans hold their majority in the Assembly, they’ll have complete control of state government again.
Republicans gained control of the governor’s office, the Senate and the Assembly in 2010. But Democrats wrested control of the Senate from them in June’s recall elections.

i thought libs predicted the union would ruin the pubs....

Kind of interesting that it's a blue state yet has a Republican Governor and the state Congress is controlled by Republicans.

You have to admire the little titmouse's indefatigably as he runs this way and that, searching the country over for any scrap of good news for the Republicans he can find.

He'd make an excellent minimum wage worker. I'd hire him to empty the garbage cans (and actually I need someone to do that), make coffee, sweep the warehouse, and reorganize the supply room over and over.

Meanwhile, Liberals rejoice and just feel good. I know I do. :)

it is interesting. my opinion is that romney was simply not a good candidate and neither was obama. however, obama slightly edged out romney. he is an incumbent, and appeared to get his message across better. people might feel differently about who governs their local governments, versus the national government.

Are you in danger of losing your job, AGAIN!!

this really shows what a whiny bitch you are. i post one thread about republicans winning in WI and you have to whine that i'm running around looking for any good news.

this state was a huge issue nationally. this is an important piece of news and flies in the face of liberals like you who claimed it would cost the gop in the elections.

you seriously need to stop being such a bitter and angry person. you'll live longer.

Selfish bastards get to have Republicans for themselves but work to saddle us with Dims. I guess that's how cheeseheads roll...

Romney was a fine candidate and ran one hell of a campaign. Unfortunately, voters chose a person over policies. Just not our year. Time to support the President as much as we can and start warming up for '16.

I am sorry, but Romney was a weak candidate and his constantly reinventing himself did not help. He should have given more specifics about his plans, instead of being vague and wishy washy!

One could say the same of Obama, who didn't release his agenda until a week before the election. I think Mitt did the best job he could. It just wasn't our year.

same could be said of obama. he never presented a viable plan until right before the election and then it was still short on details.

the groaner dude stoner pot head still has nothing of value to add to any thread

go kiss fascist president obama's ass

poor dude is just butt hurt pubs took WI

care to talk about the OP or are you just going to whine about the pubs winning WI?

how is the OP trolling? and what did i cry about?

how many times do i have to tell you i'm not republican? you smoke too much weed and have become stupid.

this thread speaks volumes about liberals.

they are running all over the board expressly GLOATING about obama winning....but if someone posts about pubs winning in WI...they are a troll and a low wage worker
